  1. I would feel sorry for Greenwood if he got replaced. He's looked inpressive in the times I have seen him at the Showground and at Rye. Jacops however is now in his 6th season of racing and whilst he is doing well in the NL and seems to be able to score ok in the EL against the other reserves etc, he seems to look lightweight in the PL.
  2. But you'll probably get the ultimate accolades for ending Monarchs unbeaten run!
  3. Title Alert - Title Alert. Ippo starting to get their act together. Monarchs beware.
  4. I have to say I have some slight concerns about this match. Newcy have a very strong top 4 who are at least a match for Edinburgh's. How Aaron will fare is anyone's guess but if the horrendous wound opens up and he has to pull out then the pressure is all on Stevie. But Stevie is only human (so I'm told) and could have bike problems all night for instance. Deek was pretty poor last week according to the updates so all in all it could be pretty damn close given Newcy's usual liking for the 'Dale. Or it could be another runaway Monarchs win. Certainly don't want to start like we did for half a dozen heats against Ippo last week.
  5. Does the state not hand out free laptops and unlimited broadband in the north east then? Poor relations obviously!!
  6. Really? I always thought the unemployment rate was high in the north east.
  7. Yesterday certainly was the miss part of hit or miss from Ostergaard. I have been very impressed by Blackbird and Greenwood on my visits this season.
  8. And who was going to tell the punters who don't read this forum?
  9. Starting gate stopped starting half way through the meeting. Another electrical problem?
  10. Yet another health & safety problem at the showground tonight I see. How many can they have/stand in 1 season?
  11. That's a decent offer pp - cheers I have to state I have never had anything against any Panthers supporter - well maybe 1, but we all have the same multi-named cross to bear! - just have issues with the management playing queenie's song to death and keeping us in the dark on other matters!!
  12. That'll do nicely. Saves another trip to Peterborough. Good to have avoided Worky - still can't believe we won at their place!!
  13. Very perceptive pp - I am a decent bloke and a good speedway fan!! Don't get it wrong though, I don't support Panthers, unless they are against a team I don't like (e.g. Ippo, Somerset, Rye, etc !!). I will always be a Monarchs supported first and foremost!! However I would have been happy to have handed over my dosh this week or last if they had had the decency to just be honest, not hide under the cloak of H&S. I should be surprised that the BPSA let them away with it but I'm not.
  14. I'm too concerned about my health and safety - maybe lots of others are too?
  15. They are still not getting my money out of me after the Truckfest shenanigans. Will be the second one I have missed all season. Can't understand how the reasons haven't leaked out yet. Or is it that there was a prior booking?
  16. Don't see it doing much for team spirit if Bowen, Bunyan, Tress & new guy have to up a ride each in every match and that only adds up to 6 rides each for the reserves!!
  17. More likely to be Roger Lambert - average would fit too. (That's one for you Diamonds!!)
  18. It will be a British rider from the look of it - http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/Sport/Speedway/Rye-House-Rockets-reserve-Simon-Lambert-leaves-team-20140519135027.htm Feel sorry for Simon.
