  1. Can't believe the negativity about the unbeaten run. Surely supporters will want to turn up in their droves to see if their team can be the first to end the run. or is it better to watch weak teams like Rye turn up?
  2. It got more interesting after Italy & Uruguay Did the business, but that feels like a lifetime ago.
  3. Looks like 60+ for Panthers and only a handful of spectators preferring to watch Rye House rather than Brazil.
  4. Maybe down to the Newcy track! (Only joking!)
  5. There are plenty of so called technical tracks in the UK and they don't have this level of accidents. I think even the NL riders in the EL cope with the notorious holes at Poole without this level. So rather than getting all defensive about it and quoting riders from 50 years ago, maybe some rational discussion about the causes of all the problems and what can be done about them would be a start.
  6. So is the track the same as when Ivan rode it? I remember seeing him there in the early sixties. When did he last ride it?
  7. As long as they don't reciprocate for Tungate's recent guest appearance!
  8. Sorry to hear how bad it's got. My only visit this year - peterborough - was bad enough for presentation & atmosphere. Must be impossible now.
  9. Looks NL to me. Bowen, Greaves, Garrity (NL draft), Boxall, Neilsen. Bunyan - not much more than NL heat leader now. Kennett - dropping so many points everywhere now. Cradley would have a good chance at home against that lot.
  10. Is Kennett trying to get his average down so he can get a place in the NL?
  11. And I haven't been since the health & safety shenanigans!
  12. Looks like our reserve might just scrape it ahead of yours.
  13. So come independence can Edinburgh & Glasgow only track Scottish riders?
  14. Max Fricke was fined at Edinburgh very recently for not getting up quickly enough. Apparently refs don't generally announce the fines to avoid fans doing a whip round. Maybe Kennett was dispirited by not getting a TeamGB call up?
  15. Would have at least expected some of the other BSF regulars to have chipped in with their support for Redcar!!
  16. I assumed the meeting must be off given the lack of interest in the thread. But according to the BBC Weather site, all looks fine this evening. So it must just be apathy then. Really surprised since this will probably be the night the unbeaten record gets broken.
  17. Don't actually see much wrong in what he's saying. (Dickson that is.)
