  1. Make that an AAA1 idiot. So Premier League Pairs - I assume you haven't learned capital letters yet - just where does that say it has to be held on a Premier League track?
  2. Really? And there was me thinking PL Pairs meant the riders must be from the PL. I never realised it meant a Pairs meeting on a PL track. So we could have had some EL pairs in it?
  3. Err my point is how can you always find a geographically neutral ref going forward.
  4. You got a problem with it? Or are you trying to be racist? You obviously don't know that The Scotsman is a well renowned heavyweight newspaper in Scotland. Still don't know how you think ignoring the rules will make speedway a successful spectator sport again though. That's the best yet. It shouldn't be on a neutral track because Somerset always gets it! Absolutely priceless - A1 idiot. So if Brummies are in the PL next year, where does the ref come from? A1+ idiot!
  5. Should have been a midlands ref? !! I would have thought a neutral track should be a higher priority.
  6. Some posters should watch wrestling if they want entertainment disguised as sport. Speedway should not come down to that level - it should be honest and above board. That means sticking to the rules. To suggest that sticking to the rules will kill off through sport - words fail me. Perhaps commentators should have explained the rules and situation to the viewers? Or should we have a new brand of WWF for speedway? Maybe need 2 falls or a knockout to get a result in each race? Some posters should step back and have a think about what they have said.
  7. I'm very surprised at you Philip. So you are suggesting we bend (or even break) the rules just because a few people don't like the outcome and might walk away? How many might walk away if we do bend or break the rules?or Should Hancock not have been excluded at Cardiff? Then most people would have been happy with a Tai win. Should a home rider never be excluded? Rules is rules and that's the way it should stay.
  8. So if Max had bust the tapes in the Final rather than his first ride, should he have been allowed another go from level with the others? Because it was the Final and we don't want to spoil the spectacle? What a load of cobblers. Rules is rules. Praise to the ref first making a decision rather than taking the easy option of all 4 back. Some barmy posts in this thread.
  9. Wonder what the reaction would have been if it had been a Monarchs rider excluded. Just wondering!!
  10. Well done to the Monarchs. Don't forget Sam was actually leading at the time and Max was third. I did expect an all 4 back but I'm not a referee. You can't just change the rules though to ensure the crowd get an acceptable ending.
  11. At least they saw a decent number 1 in action.
  12. Would have thought Wolves would be slightly ahead of Swindon in the race. Depends whether there is an EL next year of course.
  13. Why on earth go to that dump? It is certainly the nearest track to me but I won't waste my fuel getting there. Would rather go and watch Ippo and that's saying something!!
  14. My pleasure!! But garrity is still a ned even if he didn't cheat!!.
  15. Maybe that's why he thumped Derek Sneddon with it. Ned.
  16. Ronnie Moore (or was it Ron How or Barry Briggs?) said something similar about Edinburgh. The thing is, that was back in the sixties. And it was Old Meadowbank. The Edinburgh track is a bit different now. As I should think is Newcastle.
