Morris is always one of the strongest riders at the Dale. Brady had not yet mastered the place. As said, Allen can't be that bad again there. So Somerset should score well there. I doubt Foxy has ridden Somerset yet so isn't likely to score many if any. Todd K is a double figure man there at the minute. As are the others apart from maybe Starke, though if Lambert can get 14 out of 15 against the Mons then possibly Starke could too given our weakness at reserve. So Somerset should be stronger over all. There ya go!! Now I just need our boys to prove me wrong as usual!!

Yes the big improvers make a hell of a difference but a very strong duo make a huge difference at the end of matches where big heat wins in 13 & 15 are so important, not to mention the impact with TRs. I never said the top 2 solely put us on top of the table. But look at the 5-1s that Cookie & Sam have picked up. But all 7 riders are What have got us to where we are.

A strong top two is very important under the current PPL system.

King deffo is not as fast as Cookie in full flight (you should have seen him at Rye House - scarily fast!!).

The keys are 1) sign improvers 2) don't sign doublers unless you have the priority over fixtures. Ippo actually didn't have a bad team this season - just lacked a big hitter.
