  1. Sedgy would be nigh on unbeatable round the Showground.
  2. Looks like the council will now give approval to housing on Armadiddle Stadiu. Sad news ahead?
  3. That's the one. Track was bald as a coot and Karger gated like a dream and rode perfectly.
  4. Was Karger the guy that had a great win over Smiler Sam Masters that season?
  5. So even no hoper British riders should be guaranteed a place?
  6. Sorry jenga didn't know you were waiting for an update. Well done to Tungate - don't like him but he seems to be flying. Well done Smiler - that's more like it. Don't know why Joshie went over the white line twice. Trying too hard to get past maybe? Might have had a decent score otherwise.
  7. Wow isn't that such a surprise. Wonderful sewing club they have in speedway.
  8. Fantastic what the weej are doing to their stadium. Green with envy or maybe blue with the cold.
  9. A big Well Done to Joshie P. at the Oz Championships.
  10. Loved it at Rye House when Massen's bike caught fire!!
  11. Interesting that the bspa were apparently trying to do something about the doubling problems.
  12. Yep sounds like a bad night. Ricky apparently has broken bones in his hand and tendon damage in his arms. Sedgy waiting for an op.
  13. You may be right - only time will tell. But there certainly is a lot of potential for averages to be increased. It certainly worked for us in 2014 when we started the season with only Cookie & Smiler as recognised heat leaders and Derek Sneddon in the main body of the team. But Sedgy & Stevie Worrall blasted their way out of the reserve berths and Max Fricke stepped it up, with Aaron Fox doing his bit. And the rest is history regarding that season - so many more cans of polish were required!!
  14. I agree the heat leader strength is very different from last season, but Smiler decided he had to drop a league because of his ridiculous fixture schedule and we were the one he had to drop. We were also over the points limit and so had to make changes. But last season we suffered from the lack of points from our reserves especially away from home. So this season it's a change of approach with strength at the bottom end throughout the season and an expectation of big improvements from most of the team. It's a young team - Ricky is the old stager at just 26. Just a shame he has got injured out in Oz (as has Sedgy). But it's always good to be the unfancied team and JC & AH get it right far more often than not.
  15. Well this all a few months away so Joyous Noel and a Hazy New Year to all my fans!
  16. I have some concerns about our approach for next season but need to keep the faith!! Some serious potential for average increases in the team but the apparent lack of a third heat leader could cause problems. Should certainly be stronger in the later stages of the season and we did have weaknesses at reserve last season. Just need a helluva big ringer on 5+ points for the final spot.
  17. Dirty money or ready laundered. Any preference?
  18. Interesting signing. 5.25 left so we are going for the strength in depth approach with a big bunch of improvers. Looking like another foreigner to complete the lineup. And no Sedgy despite what the Weegies & Ippolytes expected!
  19. Nope just says he thinks the Weegie team is pants.
