  1. I think there's a random rider allocater app around. Add in all riders plus their averages, enter the points limit, then put in a team name and hit Go.
  2. Easy to look very ropey at Ippo - just watch Somerzet!!
  3. Can't be sure but did they not say at the meeting they need £8.5k per meeting? I assume they need to cover away match costs from this too.
  4. I think he said on the play-off video that he was going to retire but had changed his mind.
  5. But there are charges for Paypal accounts are there not? And probably highish where it's not a personal account.
  6. I must say that having a bank transfer facility available would life SO much easier!!
  7. Not disputing any of that. Just that Ellis would need to hit over 9 next year to match Stevie's improvement. I'm sure if he stays on the bike a bit more (seemed to have at least 1 off every time I've seen him) and changes tracks then he will improve. Would be good to see him at Peterborough (or even the Dale) but that would mean leaving Lakeside.
  8. Stevie started the season on a sub 3 point average rounded up to 3. Ellis is nearly 2 points up on Stevie's so not quite a valid comparison!!
  9. Do they not have to lodge a bond with the BSPA? Not sure how many £k that would be.
  10. You being sarcastic? The kitty is still £10k short before they can commit to running.
  11. Well at least it's better than this year's feeble outfit. Team as per Rye House website.............. Edward Kennett (8.38), Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen (7.00), Jason Garrity (6.75), Tyson Nelson (6.16), Steve Boxall (5.36), Kasper Lykke (4.65), Luke Bowen (3.96). Overall team total: 42.26.
  12. You guys crease me up sometimes. So Sam is not quite number one material? Look at the Speedway Star averages........... Monarchs have 5 riders who are all way ahead of anyone at Ippo and Smiling Sam is number 6 on the PL top 10 (on 9.12 with bp)!! (Only Cookie, King, Barker, Lawson & Stead are ahead of him.) And remind me - was it the Smiler who knocked up a max in the KO Cup Final at Ippo recently??
  13. They are in a no win situation though. However much they have already put in would still be seen as not enough.
  14. Can't see him ride PL for anyone else. But of course he may not ride PL next year.
  15. Never afraid when Craig Cook's on our side.
  16. Outscored by Pavlova in some of those meetings ........... just saying!!
  17. To be fair there are only 3 or 4 negative posters. Most of the positives are hopefully in the silent majority.
  18. Good post NJC71. I have often thought riders need some proper professional management, though at the end of the day that costs money too.
