Not sure why Greenwood hasn't clicked yet this season.
Last season he was in great form before he bust his collar bone.
His maximum was testament to that.
Also saw him score very well at Rye House for Panthers last season.
Bit unfair to consider ditching him already.
Tractor was out grading every 2 heats.
Seemed to me there were more lines available than any other meeting at the showground this year - all down to a bit extra dirt.
Definitely better to watch than what I see at Ippo, though I haven't been to Ippo this year yet.
Given that all the dirt was that far out at the time I think he was always going to struggle to turn the bike and was going to need a Rickardsson Cardiff Wall of Death ride to get around the bouncy bags.
Greater good is fine but only up to a point.
And the $64,000 question is - where is that point?
Rider safety?
Crowd inconvenience?
PR?
Money?
PS
I don't know the answer!!
Lot of anti-Monarchs propaganda going on.
Folk must be getting worried about the strength of our guys this season.
6 points down with the Cookie/Smiling Sam pair due out in 2 of the last 4.
We would have been happy with that against apparently the strongest team in the league.
And with the home leg to come.
Len's programme notes from last week commented that the new recruits would bring a professionalism that had been lacking recently.
I assumed this might have referred to Garrity & Bunyan.
