Certainly was a bore-fest for the first part of the meeting but improved as it went on up to a good climax. Why was Watt not in heat 15? He had had 2 decent heat results by then and was trapping well - would have thought he would have been a better option than North? Even though north had been fighting hard. What was the crowd size compared to normal? It didn't look that big but they were spread around the circuit.

It's a crazy crazy crazy world. I feel really sorry for the lad and the promotion. The BSPA really need to have a look at this rule amongst others. At least r/r in the home matches will be ok for a few matches. Won't work out away from home though. Fortunately July is quite a quiet month fixture-wise.

Most of the fallers are in Sheffo's team. The throttle goes both ways. Bates and Scrabbleman seem to be managing fine for Sheffo.
