Best of luck to Emil Grondal. It's a big ask to hit a 7 point average - very few do in their first season. But he seems to have the support team and backing in place and he is keen to come so that goes a long way. Might be able to pop along on Sunday if it's not too hot!!

Certainly was a bore-fest for the first part of the meeting but improved as it went on up to a good climax. Why was Watt not in heat 15? He had had 2 decent heat results by then and was trapping well - would have thought he would have been a better option than North? Even though north had been fighting hard. What was the crowd size compared to normal? It didn't look that big but they were spread around the circuit.
