That Rye House team (Kyle Hughes at 3 plus Dan Greenwood & Danny Maassen at reserve) was always going to be cannon fodder. Would expect the team spirit in the Weegies camp to be so much better and therefore push him on to a better performance.

Konopka gets so much track time everywhere - he really should be an EL heat leader by now. No Palovaara is a big loss for the Weegies. Assume Tungate won't risk it again. Might not be such a stroll for Ippo but unlikely to drop the points like last week.

Errr what's this got to do with Monarchs? Monarchs supporters do generally accept when their riders have been out of order even when there is no video evidence. Hancock at least attacked Pedersen from the front. Cowardly Tungate did his attack from behind. Most people knew that what Hancock did was wrong and said so and didn't deny it happened. Most people know that what Tungate did was bang out of order but a couple are trying to say it didn't happen or that Auty caused it by slowing down and riding in Tungate's path.

In most cases you are right baldyman, but there are one or two that are a bit iffy (always found you pretty fair though!!).

I used to have my suspicions you were an idiot - now you've just confirmed them. And I remember Tungate trying to wipe out Maxy Fricke on turn 2 in a race at Ippo last season - but this time it was during the race. Only Max's great skill kept him on the bike. So maybe Tungate has form?

Pity Smiling Sam wasn't riding!! Cookie has had a very up and down season which is why he dropped from number 1. I think when he guested against Newcy he was in one of his down periods and couldn't gate for toffee. I saw him the next night at Armadale against Glasgow and he was the same out of the gate and even lost a 5-1 in one heat. But 2 days later he had blitzed a 15 point max away to Glasgow!! It's a funny old game!! Maybe the GP has given him some confidence? That's 2 x 15 pointers since then. On another note, I'm deffo not a regular at Ippo, but I think that's twice in a row I have seen someone go straight through the fence on the second bend one panel past the bouncy castle. The other was Hawkins - possibly against Somerset. What is the problem there? Does the bouncy castle stop a panel too soon? Manzares certainly went through it at a bit of speed. Hope he makes a quick recovery. Decent meeting though and there looked a good sized crowd to me. Should be a full house for the League Cup clash!!
