  1. Don't tell thm that Taps - the Panties are looking for blood, not content with pulling off a win yesterday.
  2. Always a fix at Fox Holes. Always cheated never defeated. Mons should appeal and demand the meeting be rerun.
  3. When Wayne Briggs first came over his gating was pretty poor. So his big bruv took him down to Southampton for a couple of days practice. The difference when he came back was absolutely staggering. So it must be worth Josh trying something like you suggested. Shame it didn't stop Wayne being so accident /injury prone.
  4. Interesting change. Feel sorry for Coty - he rode really well at Ippo last Thursday but the team did need strengthening and his coat was on one of the shoogly pegs.
  5. Still not buying it. Just another conspiracy in the long list of anti-Monarchs conspiracies. #lollipopgate rather than #startinggate I should have upped the ante and offered a pack of party rings.
  6. Total stitch up all night. Garcia was ahead by nearly half a wheel. King should never have been allowed IRR - he started off injured and maybe aggravated it but didn't incur a new injury. Should be a 14 match ban after he is signed off as fully fit. And Rory's flier in heat 15 put any of Sarj's or Campo's to shame. And Andersson should never have been excluded from whatever heat it was. And all because the lady likes a lollipop? All these decisions against us - we could have hit 60 otherwise, well maybe if Ricky had brought his normal form to the party and we had cut out our last places. And if the track hadn't been so rough. What is that contraption made of bedsprings actually meant to do? Nice shiny tractor though. But we scored what we are usually scoring away from home nowadays - 37. But fings can only get better, onwards and upwards, there's light in the tunnel, every dog has his day, and it's our 70th birthday. Take that. Good to meet up with the Massif mob again for the first time in a while and the last time for a while. Sound system was slightly improved. But I'm still not going to donate to Bustit's pension fund - I have my pride and I know how to hide all my sorrow and pain - heard that before somewhere. C'mon the Monarchs.
  7. I thought the same but when you rule out the teams that are also riding tonight there doesn't seem to be anyone much better available.
  8. Still hanging on to my Scottish notes. Gawd knows what they're using up here. Even Ocado don't deliver to here can you believe?
  9. I'm ambidextrous so it could be either - or none! Haven't properly sussed out the shops around here yet.
  10. Not this season I don't think. Could be wrong - happens occasionally.
  11. I'm seriously considering it Baldy. Though I might have Mrs. Scotsman in tow. Hope there'll be space for us in the packed Fox Holes. Might be a 4 hour round trip but hey ho. I fear we might get humped by the all star Switches combo but not likely to have another chance of speedway this year. Erik is a huge miss. What moron created this fixture list?
  12. Armadiddle changed its name to Sunny Beach? Who'd have thought it.
  13. Averages 10+in the top Swedish league and would join Edinburgh on a 3 point average.
  14. Should go with Rooboy & DK at 1 & 2. Would almost match the unstoppable Cookie & Sedgy partnership that wiped the floor with the old PL.
  15. I've been told the bowser broke down earlier in the week and hadn't been replaced so the track hadn't been watered. And the Glasgow team manager just got verbals from the team about the state of the track when he tried to gee them up at the interval. And that Worrall had indeed refused to ride in heat 15. So not a happy day for our weej friends. Dunno how much it costs to hire a bowser.
  16. You may be right and I wasn't at the Diddle to see it last night and couldn't but I have seen Harris jump off a couple of times at least in the past.
  17. Every cloud so they say. Mind you the thunder storm is due here in a few hours and all night and tomorrow. Talk about going out with a bang!!
  18. Cheers Taps - can finish the packing now rather than at midnight tonight!! We'll be in the bowels of Norfolk so not likely to catch much speedway - certainly not going to help Buster's Benefit. I think our lads are due at Fox Holes on 21st June so will have to hope I can make it down for that.
