  1. Agree - said to the missus he was showboating. Shame he fell but he was nearly quarter lap ahead. On a 5-1 and Erik was way behind grondal. Had 2 big races against cookie to come. With panthers injury list as it is it was just stupid. He could have blown an engine or come a cropper - it was the latter plus a very bent bike. Hope for his sake he's back soon but he has a lot to learn. Thought the track was poor. Dry, slick & dusty - hardly what the likes of MPT would have wanted.
  2. Rye took their's in heat 12 last night. (But Kaiser Kevin saw it off!)
  3. Should be comfortable for panthers. Even though they are weaker than they were at Armadale. Home advantage should get them through. Expect the track to be heavy and bumpy. Just hope everyone gets through it unscathed on both sides.
  4. First it's Peterborrow now it's Ipscrounge.
  5. Well I'm going to be mega optimistic Mr B. I'm going for 43!! Might need Rye to have a few ef's mind you! Scorching hot so I reckon it'll be a dust bowl like the Sahara during a gale.
  6. Might as well bump this up a bit. Doesn't seem to be much interest in the match. Weather too hot for Cookie to add another TR?
  7. Worse than a broken collar bone then? Or is the Witches season nearly over?
  8. I'm sure Ricky Wells will do a decent job for you at home!!
  9. How did Plymouth get on away to Somerset again?
  10. Great result /performance by panthers. Too many weaknesses from monarchs. Need a glasgow turnaround on Sunday! Backsides kicked probably so game on.
  11. That's good because Sedgy certainly didn't like it. (And I definitely didn't - pelted with lumps of wet mud and then showered in dust!!) Erik took a long time to get going too. Just noticed that Erik is actually riding on Friday - it's just Saturday at Rye he misses. Things are brightening up!!
  12. Obvious to anyone that Peterington are made much stronger by their guests and especially r/r for Grondal whereas Monarchs will have to rely on Cookie, Sedgy & Agent K pretty much going unbeaten and hoping our reserves can pick up the odd point or two. Not having Erik and having to use Liam is a big loss. Certainly expect Peterington to get points from this. The only plus point is that we might get them back on Sunday - Cookie & Sedgy were looking near unbeatable in the Fours and Erik should be back.
  13. Manzares has no hope of hitting a 7 point average at this rate.
  14. Aesop wrote a lot of fables - any particular one?
  15. Long way from Sweden to Armadale though. Will he be able to get back?
  16. Yes - announced on monarchs site at 9.25 this evening. Wells still guests. Hansen us too tired. Apparently.
