  1. Yes that's good about the zoo info. But if the promotion were mired in planning problems they should have come out with a holding statement to that effect. Saying nothing encourages punters to assume nothing is happening and that the promotion can't be bothered.
  2. I have to admit that covatti is worth the admission charge at Foxholes.
  3. Very attractive opening fixtures for both monarchs and tiggers. Well done to both promotions.
  4. Bend it, bend it, just a little bit - as Dave Dee or even Dave Beckham would have it.
  5. Neutral venue would be nice, but difficult with all the double-upping.
  6. Sounds like a follower of the Pacific Shelf 595 outfit.
  7. The so called spirit of most rules in speedway is a sick joke. I doubt there is a club in the country that doesn't or hasn't tried to find a way round them. And the averages system particularly regarding assessed averages just encourages it.
  8. Glad to see the page count is still clocking up nicely. Keep it going lads. Closing in on top place. Is there a trophy? Nice that we had the civic reception from Edinburgh Council. http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/speedway/tigers-feud-could-see-monarchs-open-season-against-belle-vue-1-4020359 Just a shame that there still seems to be an east/west feud on the go. Still B Vue would be a nice opener.
  9. Ahhh - so he/she did!!! I knew my eyesight was failing - seems it's my brain too. Oh well. (Thanks for pointing it out politely!!)
  10. I thought I saw the lamp man going round with his pole lighting them one evening but the light wasn't good enough to be sure.
  11. Errr - last year we were only able to keep 3 from the previous season!! (Lost Max Fricke, Stevie Worrall, Deek Sneddon & Aaron Fox.) At least this season they've let us keep 4.
  12. I agree it's poor elsewhere too but I find it's made that bit worse at Ippo because you have the car track which pushes you back from the action more. Probably just my failing eyesight though!
  13. Reading Gregor Fisher's autobiography at the moment - but I can do that thanks to my superior Scottish (East Coast) education. Interesting (and troubled) childhood he had.
  14. Some track lighting would be good too.
