  1. He sure is good at Redcar. H15 was good. Getting King on the run to the line. Anyway back to Peterborough...
  2. Better to do it when we are already through. Can we swap tracks, think we are better at Redcar than we are at home!
  3. 50/50 and one angle shows Steve pretty much passed him when he started to go down.
  4. I would have expected him to have at least a ride on Weds! I like Hagon and if we need a 2 pointer again he is the one to go for. But there is no point doing it unless you are changing someone else as the averages haven't changed yet so still about 1.5 difference between him and Roynon.
  5. But when? Nothing happened on Weds. Look at the photo below. Some people need to calm down as someone will end up with an injury soon. Thanks @iainb for the link to the photo
  6. If you watched it you would have seen what upset him? As there hasn't been anything previous that I can recall. I was told Charles leaned on Zach's wheel first bend and it tore his kelvers and that was it? Apparently they had words and tried to cut each other up a few times near the pits. You are right, Zach is calm. So maybe Charles is out of order. I mean he has started on his own team mate Tom Brennan at BV. Not like he did much either!
  7. Cross that bridge when you come to it. So you are basically making Ben the scapegoat cos top 5 is no good. Not really his problem. How about sign a new top 5 and keep the reserves? When it is unfair yes i will go on and on and on! lol Ben Cooks has been doing his job. If the Danes don't do theirs why does he have to take the fall for it?
  8. He's reserve FFS. He is not supposed to be doing a top 5 job. They are not even supposed to get as many as nine! And what reserves regularly get 10 points a meeting?
  9. I didn't watch the stream. What happened? Sounds like Charles did a dodgy move on Zach going by Blobby's post?
  10. Oxford better than I thought. Redcar and Plymouth (depending on injuries) will get better as the months go by.
  11. Those scores are with Danny in our team so might be slightly different. Although Lawson and Zach have guested a few times at Redcar this season, so that will help. But with Zach being on Charles' latest list of 'riders I have a problem with..' could be extra interesting!
  12. I nearly did Wright's but completely forgot that Kerr is riding on Saturday!
  13. Good night for Poole riders in the Prem, Ben and Steve got 9, Zach 7 and Richard 14+1. So, good form going into Saturday can only help.
  14. Poole Pirates Speedway Website (Official) (poole-speedway.com) The Wessex Marine Pirates will need to be on their 'A' games when they travel to Teesside on Saturday, defending a small, but valuable, six point lead as they seek to secure a place in the BSN Final. It is a meeting that promises a great deal with the Steve Worrall and Richard Lawson both accomplished scorers around the ECCO Arena and both Pirate reserves Kyle Newman and Adam Roynon having had spells there last season. Poole boss Danny Ford admitted to being "relieved" that the his charges were able to secure the advantage saying "we always knew it was going to be tough. One look at their side and it was clear they were going to make things as difficult as they could, but our lads dug in really deep at the end and we will now go to theirs with the plan of taking the tie to them. Just as they had riders who enjoy riding our track so we have a side that shouldn't have too many fears about riding there and this has all the making of a being an epic conclusion to the semi-final. We want to be in that final, you need to be there to have a chance of picking up the trophy and we love doing that at Poole so I have no doubt that our lads will give it their all as they seek to finish the job." Once again the Pirates will be operating rider replacement for Anders Rowe, as he misses Saturday's trip due to a clash with his FIM SGP2 qualifier, whilst the Bears have booked a guest in place of their number one Erik Riss, with another top ECCO Arena performer Lewis Kerr being called up, whilst the Pirates will also have a further personnel change, with locally based, former world champion and club captain Gary Havelock taking on the team manager duties for this Northern based fixture. The successful side from Saturday's meeting will face the winners of the other semi-final which concludes on Friday night, when Glasgow, holding a twelve point lead from the first leg, stage their home fixture against Scunthorpe. Saturday's teams: Redcar - 1 Lewis Kerr (Guest) 2 Danyon Hume 3 Charles Wright (Capt) 4 Connor Bailey 5 Danny King 6 Jason Edwards 7 Jake Mulford Team manager Gavin Parr Poole - 1 Steve Worrall (Capt) 2 Rider Replacement 3 Ben Cook 4 Zach Cook 5 Richard Lawson 6 Kyle Newman 7 Adam Roynon Team manager Gary Havelock
  15. What have Paul Hollywood fans got to do with a speedway meeting?
  16. Ha, he did it at Oxford last night See who it is first!! Howarth didn't ride Tues as trapped nerve in his neck. Wasn't going to ride Weds, but all of a sudden was fit to ride and then injured his wrist in H1 at Oxford.
  17. Good point! Hadn't thought of that. I guess that depends on the council and we would pay for it, so depends on costing? Etc. But considering we still sit on wooden benches in the grandstand, I am not sure! I do prefer the Poole stream as links in with track presenter and see what is going on in the pits more. Yes and also does commentating and presenting on the Poole stream.
  18. He also blow up an engine last night. I don't know if he uses different equipment or the same for Peterborough and Poole. But not a lot of time to sort it out if it is the same. Sure it will be fine but something to consider.
  19. It has made it onto speedway shambles twitter page. Oxford played the ref! Brilliant
