  1. Most Championship clubs were charging £20 last season, whereas Poole was £19. So am surprised there is a debate about it (we are just catching up!) Maybe they need the extra pound from everyone to cover costs more. They said publicly that season tickets have been going really well, so maybe not that much picking and choosing!
  2. Seems to be a lot of individuals. So be interesting to see how they get on especially with team riding. Hopefully Darcy has emphasised it to Tate as he was always really good at that from a young age.
  3. It's a shame the race night has moved in a way as might have been able to get someone like Rew (unless he is doing Sweden this year).
  4. Not when mugging an elderly lady at knife point he doesn't. Have to be absolutely crazy to put him anywhere speedway again imo. Although if he does sign for Plymouth when they are at Poole, the Police station is near the entrance to the stadium, so he won't have far to go if he does anything!
  5. We need Davina McCall when Tai is about to start talking " you are live on (whenever the location is) please DO NOT swear..."
  6. https://x.com/poolespeedway/status/1770517957682073678?s=20 If any Poole fans haven't seen, P+P being live streamed on their YT channel.
  7. Exactly! If anyone wants to annoy Tai, just ignore everything he says, he'd hate that! Just don't let him wind you up.
  8. Only the HLs haven't. The rest would have been to Oxford last couple of years in the Championship. The Holder's have watched it at Oxford though when helping Zach occasionally in 2022.
  9. For me I compared it to the Championship meetings that are streamed, which last season were £11.99. So there is zero chance they will stream this field at the same price or cheaper with more races as well! I also don't think you can compare it to football streams as the demand is so much more for them so can make it cheaper and still make a profit. Maybe compare it to cinema prices at peak times then definitely a bargain! lol
  10. Good meeting I thought. Especially for the BV riders! Ben Cook certainly on form from the off this season.
  11. More demand for football ones though, so easy for them to make a profit charging less. Even Championship speedway streams are £11.99
  12. I thought it was quite fair. If you think Leicester are changing £12.99 for a league meeting. £14.99 for an individual meeting with 20 heats and SF and final, is good value imo.
  13. Not really. It won't be set up as the home riders want it. Although good riders should adapt quickly.
  14. Why does it matter that Oxford are new to the league? Most of the riders would have been there in the Championship anyway. Well apart from Magic! Oh and Tungate and Klindt lol
  15. Correct. Don't think BSN will put their meetings on YT though! Although if @Gazc streamed it on the night he might be able to watch it back anyway.
  16. Also Oxford don't seem to like an early call off (based on last couple of seasons). Which sometimes means a half 7 call off which can upset some fans depending on how far they travel. But a lot of time they get meetings on when others probably would have called it off. It seems a lot of teams decide things on the forecast, where Oxford tend to keep it on until the track is under water. I assume they have a good base or drainage which can take a bit of water.
  17. Yes but they struggle to fit everything in before end of October, so need to start a bit earlier!
  18. Why would anyone moan about the price? Last season Championship streaming was £11.99 so only £1 more!
  19. Yeah exactly. If it is a private letter should stay that way imo. If I wrote a letter to anyone I wouldn't expect to find it quoted on a forum without my permission. Same with PMs.
  20. I wonder if Plymouth are going to get Mark Clattenburg at some meetings to say 'Gladiators ready!...' before each race. I would pay to watch that!
  21. Guests? It's not like someone just backtracked themselves out of a team, he is injured. Surely if there was a viable option it would have been done by now.
  22. Although there is a slight problem of some riders signing up to a Swedish team on a Tuesday now.
  23. Who else is there though? Plymouth have depth to their reserves and second strings. So prob don't need an out and out No1. Just someone who can get 7-8 points a meeting?
  24. Would that not make more riders unavailable because of Poland?
