  1. Now... Is a very good line up... .....if everyone turns up of course!
  2. Oh, was Steve being serious then?!! I thought he was just trying to annoy CC and get him to react!
  3. Its the only thing i can compare it to, as i first new years meeting i went to was at Poole last year..
  4. I agree! But didn't say that as i thought i'd be accused of being biased!
  5. Well as i was joking....... should get Gordon the Tramp to buy him one as he has half a million apparently!!
  6. Think Colin Cooke should buy him one....well if he wants him, time to prove it!!
  7. Well done Steve, certainly makes watching it in the freezing cold weather, worth it! Just need to get all this shale off my coat now!
  8. You tend to get riders pulling out of individual meetings, its just the way it goes. With the weather, its probably worse in July than it is in January (rain wise)!! It would be good if they could get outdoor heating like some of the bars do though!
  9. Hope its a good meeting, its a long way from Poole.... Just have to decide who to support now, hmm....
  10. Ah, but the wild cards seemed to be picked on nationality rather than ability....
  11. Not personally, no. Though i would happily drive onto it in exchange for a smooth crossing!
  12. Well i'm coming to this, though i might change my mind when i have to get on the ferry!!
  13. Well i really enjoyed that meeting! Good track, good racing and a good outcome. Even the drunk bees fans didn't spoil it, well they decided to support Poole in the final, so they have must have some sense!! Still can't get over that we did it from the back twice! Well at least we have some silverware to show for the season.
  14. .....and coventry, bomber's good round there and kennett should know how to ride it! They have a good chance of retaining it.
  15. Well Harris thinks Poole are the biggest threat. Lets hope he's right and that we go on to win but i just have this feeling Coventry will do it, they are always denying us lately. Grrr......
  16. Ah, but he has already said he doesn't mind poole strengthening up, as we are bottom!! Though i agree about andersen and zagar not being cheap, but they also get more people through the gate so........
  17. Now i could be wrong but from what i've read sounds like that Bob thinks coventry are already a strong team so they shouldn't be allowed to strenghen up even further by having another heatleader. As i say i could be wrong but thats the conclusion i came too.
  18. Going by what was said on the poole site looks like it was a mutual decision.
  19. Sounds like the BSPA wanted the pairs to stay at eastbourne and they tried hard to find a way for that to happen. Which i for one am glad about!
  20. Oh for goodness sake, yes bomber should have been excluded as there was contact. Ref made the correct decision, not so sure about the nicki one though...
  21. Emils manager doesn't seem to think so going by the echo in the bournemouth echo today: EMIL Sayfutdinov’s camp have defended their decision to lend Hans Andersen a bike for the latter stages of the British Grand Prix, claiming it helped the Russian hang on to second spot overall. Sky commentator and former world number three Kelvin Tatum admitted “it’s quite staggering to me” when he saw television pictures of the teenager’s mechanics working on a bike for Poole Castle Cover’s star. Loaning bikes among team-mates is common practice in league racing, but is rare in the white hot cauldron of individual World Championship racing, although not against the rules. So there was some surprise when Andersen hopped on Sayfutdinov’s bike for the semi-final after his own machine’s engine had “slowly seized” during his fifth qualifying outing. The Russian’s manager Tomasz Suskiewicz said: “I think it’s alright to loan a bike. “Hans has the same engine tuner as Emil. He’s a good friend so that’s why we helped him. I’m sure he’ll help us back when we need it. “It was no problem. We even helped him to do a handlebar change and other smaller adjustments. “He liked that engine. It was working really well for him. We’re delighted he got third because he helped us in the final by beating Greg Hancock. “It means we’re still second overall behind Jason Crump.” Suskiewicz said Sayfutdinov had been fined $600US and Scott Nicholls $500US by an FIM Jury for their parts in an ugly on-track punch-up at Cardiff.
