Redcar Vs Birmingham BSN series 15/04/23
LisaColette replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Good news being, it is turning into summer next week .. ... apparently -
Saw this on twitter made me laugh.
-
That wouldn't surprise me.
-
As long as they leave us a race night whatever day it is!
-
Also the stadium was put in the 'regeneration' of Poole plans. When are they deciding on those plans @Skidder1 2024? So that is prob a bigger issue than this one.
-
No one said anything about shutting the stadium down! But it is no secret that stadia UK/GI don't like speedway being there imo. But I will go along with this naive thinking for now.
-
Yes, as proven by Basso's pre-meeting interview
-
Just don't expect it from any of the Danes though, especially if they want to be in the world cup team!
-
Which corner? 1, 2, 3 or 4? He is on 5.6 at the moment.
-
It is the Mon-Sun bit I highlighted. The chances of them choosing Weds? Prob low, but you just don't know.
-
Spoken like a true stirrer.

Jubilee championship league

But that affects more than the 2 original teams. You would have to make sure Plymouth not riding, Redcar, Birmingham and Scunthorpe. -
.....and into the KL team! Sorry but that was handed on a plate
-
Maybe best to leave it and 'cross the bridge when we come to it' thinking about it. No point making a massive issue out of nothing. We need someone on the inside to see if Weds are being considered though!
-
Considering so many teams promoters were not impressed when Plymouth did it last season, I am surprised they haven't changed the ruling on it.
-
What is up with Hans?
-
No wonder the 'speedway shambles' twitter acc has their profile photo of Buster Well it was, think it might be Godfrey now looking at it. To much choice!! lol.
-
Tbf the forecast was dodgy last week and they managed to get it in. Maybe they thought they would be just as lucky again.
-
And yet if the Holder signing was allowed they would still have a full team and maybe MT would want to be involved more? Only one person to blame for that one? Life lesson there, grudges come to bite you! I have no idea about the ins and outs of stadium situation, so won't comment on that.
-
Yeah, I just hope no one regrets not attending when they had the opportunity. I always enjoyed my trips to Peterborough, mainly 2006-2010 timeframe. Those times will stay as my memory of Peterborough anyway.
-
Yes. I understand this but personally if it was me I would forget the promotion and just go and enjoy the racing whilst you can. Maybe just support favourite riders rather than a 'team' if it makes it more enjoyable.
-
Won't work as well as Plymouth though. They the only team who rode on Tues so had a lot of choice. With Prem restricted to two nights will be more difficult.
-
Should have kept CH in the team then
-
Not all season though? Surely that not going to happen again like what Plymouth did last season!
