Yeah, same. I didn't think much of it until King mentioned it in an interview last season. It was on the British Speedway podcast sometime last season I think. -

I doubt we are the only ones. Maybe Poole rip it up more than others, idk. Just repeating what was said at the time -

The ripped starts is a home advantage thing I guess. As last season Danny King said a lot of away riders don't like the ripped starts and it almost gave the Poole riders a headstart. -

Which is fine, there are a way of saying things and Richie def needs media training lol. The track was good on Good Friday Vs Oxford. I guess they underestimated conditions yesterday. -

Riders don't like it when it gets watered during the meeting. -

Only Richie moaned about it in an interview. Said it was the worst it has ever been at Poole (a lie! - although track wasn't great, was better on Good Friday - defo has been worse then that tonight though) And also the track wasn't as bad as this when he rode for Poole (another lie - as I seem to remember lots of bumps and holes, even one made by Rob Lambert and Craig Cook when KL visited). Moan about the track but don't twist the past to suit your agenda. And also the crap about the trackman was very unnecessary. Good job it isn't me is all I'm saying! Maybe he should stay at home on May 3rd -

I was fine until DH opened his mouth. Hope Plymouth get thrashed everywhere they go -

Exactly! Richie is an expert though and knows better. Even what time they prep the track without him being there to know lol. I think he is just annoyed that he is realising he is not in any good teams. -

Not our fault if Plymouth are rubbish at gating. The grippy starts have been a thing at Poole for a while now, nothing new. Hmmm interesting coming from an Edinburgh fan He's an idiot. The trackman normally at Poole 4/5am normally so what was he on about there. Also Poole track was way worse when he rode for us! Just a bad loser. But hey if the track is such an issue Richie can always come down for 4am next time Plymouth are down and do it himself for free!! -
That's what Edinburgh have. But I wonder is a year long enough to relocate? Especially if you have to build a new track and stadium as well. How long did it take Workington? Although could always track share with Leicester if needed more than 12 months til new place was ready?

Oxford v Swindon Select - Rescheduled April 19
LisaColette replied to Grachan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The cons of riding on a popular race night. Shame that Swindon team is missing Morris, Howarth etc. -
Hmmm....sure about that!
