  1. So he's going to have a dead heat for third so he scores 0.5 points as that's the only possible outcome between 0 & 1
  2. Having seen Wilson-Dean in action over here in NZ a few times he's certainly someone that doesn't give up, but he's also prone to over trying. Canterbury v Auckland a few weeks back he fell of his own accord a couple of times trying too hard when behind. He's definitely a NZ rider with potential, but then again the youngster to impress the most this season in NZ is Hayden Sims, who incidentally will be back across with the USA Dream Team. Hayden was disappointed to finish 3rd in U21's but went on to finish 2nd in seniors, just missing out on the title in the last lap to James Sarjeant

  4. Bunyan switched bikes for his 3rd ride, which was his older NZ bike apparently and may explain the dramatic change in speed. One thing to note though is Bunyan won 3 in row then lost, 3 in row then lost, then another 3 in row and lost this one!

  6. Yes, by sounds of it most of the Auckland based riders have decided against riding in Christchurch. Unsure on their reasonings, but with Jason Bunyan and James Sarjeant going head to head again it should be a good meeting. Add in locals Andy Aldridge, Dale Finch, plus Oreti duo Hayden Sims and Grant Tregoning, and Ryan Terry-Daley there will be no shortage of action.
  7. NZ Championships this Saturday 3rd Jan from Moore Park. Updates will be on the Moore Park Facebook page once again. It's a 5pm start local time so 4am for those in UK. It is the Aussie Champs too I seem to have read so there may be some overlap

  9. The 2nd meeting of the New Zealand League takes place tomorrow at Moore Park and I'll be adding updates onto the Moore Park Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Mooreparkmotorcylespeedway/posts/483847225089173 for anyone that fancies a look. James Sargent and Jason Bunyan will both be involved so a bit of English interest too
  10. He's definately real...... I'm not sure if Chopper is his real first name or what he's known as though

  13. The league restarted last season so it's good to see an increase in riders wanting to take part as it will serve to act as a way of improving the local riders

  17. If only domestic flight prices and hotels hadn't been increased for this weekend due to the concert in Auckland as unfortunately with a new family can't afford around $1k for the weekend to make the trek up from South Island.... added to the fact can't take more time off work to do so!
  18. I think after this weekends final meeting a set of averages are going to be released.... provisionally at the top at present is Andy Aldridge who is probably as good as any in NZ at present. Him and Grant Tregoning would be the main 2, with Sean Mason and Dale Finch up there too..... Some up and coming youngsters from the U21's including Mason and Bradley Wilson-Dean who seems to have improved a lot this season... In general though Bunyan is usually still ahead of them all, if he's down the NZ Solo GP at Moore Park I'll have a browse again to see if any of the others have caught up

  20. The next meeting in this mini league takes place at the weekend and is Auckland v Canterbury at Rosebank. Once I find the results I will post on here for you
  21. I do if I get a chance to input them Vicar. If I get a moment I'll try and do so
  22. Ryan Terry-Daley went well in the New Zealand U21 Final yesterday.... was unbeaten from his heats, but missed out on the final when he missed the gate in his Semi-Final and could only finish 3rd..... Certainly looked a good gater on his showing, may possibly require a bit more speed in machinery, but hopefully the year for the Storm will help him out.
  23. Results from Moore Park..... Qualifying (3 rides each): Bradley Wilson-Dean - 9 pts Ryan Terry-Daley - 9 pts Jake Gillespie - 0 pts Dylan Hancock - 6 pts Hayden Sims - 6 pts Konnor McCluskey-Young - 2 pts Billy Graham - 2 pts Cameron Sole - 2 pts Sean Mason - 5 pts Brannon Coppard - 7 pts Jack MacRae - 4 pts Peleti Woods - 2 pts Repercharges: MacRae, Sole, Graham McKluskey-Young, Woods, Gillespie Semi Finals: Wilson-Dean, Coppard, McKluskey-Young, Hancock (Hancock did lead for a couple of laps before falling and getting excluded.
