Wasn't it last time we signed him Poole tried to prevent him riding for us?

Leicester V Coventry Emb 15 03 2015 12:00 Start
thehammer replied to TMW's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So he's going to have a dead heat for third so he scores 0.5 points as that's the only possible outcome between 0 & 1 -
So if Magic turns Poole down and they want to try get Pawlicki, now Coventry need another rider could they not give permission to talk to him? Wouldn't that throw the cat amongst the pigeons?

Having seen Wilson-Dean in action over here in NZ a few times he's certainly someone that doesn't give up, but he's also prone to over trying. Canterbury v Auckland a few weeks back he fell of his own accord a couple of times trying too hard when behind. He's definitely a NZ rider with potential, but then again the youngster to impress the most this season in NZ is Hayden Sims, who incidentally will be back across with the USA Dream Team. Hayden was disappointed to finish 3rd in U21's but went on to finish 2nd in seniors, just missing out on the title in the last lap to James Sarjeant

Best give the trophy from last year back then 😉 as you used guests then

How ironic that you bring up irony when it's obvious incognito's post was also a joke! Hence the bit about ftr not getting averages 😉

New Zealand 2014/2015 Season
thehammer replied to thehammer's topic in International World of Speedway
Bunyan switched bikes for his 3rd ride, which was his older NZ bike apparently and may explain the dramatic change in speed. One thing to note though is Bunyan won 3 in row then lost, 3 in row then lost, then another 3 in row and lost this one! -
The 2 recent meetings I've seen of him over here he's shown a lot more track craft than the couple of meetings I saw at Brandon last year. Him and Jason are a step above, but young Hayden Sims was unlucky to lose out to James on the last lap (who had to fight back from 3rd after a poor start).

James Sarjeant won the NZ title today.... Former Bee and GP Superstar Jason Bunyan missed out on a record 10th title with a mechanical failure in semi final just as he'd gone round Sarjeant

New Zealand 2014/2015 Season
thehammer replied to thehammer's topic in International World of Speedway
Yes, by sounds of it most of the Auckland based riders have decided against riding in Christchurch. Unsure on their reasonings, but with Jason Bunyan and James Sarjeant going head to head again it should be a good meeting. Add in locals Andy Aldridge, Dale Finch, plus Oreti duo Hayden Sims and Grant Tregoning, and Ryan Terry-Daley there will be no shortage of action. -
SCB will have them somewhere

NZ Championships this Saturday 3rd Jan from Moore Park. Updates will be on the Moore Park Facebook page once again. It's a 5pm start local time so 4am for those in UK. It is the Aussie Champs too I seem to have read so there may be some overlap -
They're more likely to be loosening screws than tightening them!

Cov because we're in the same league as Birmingham 😉 Ok it may only be the Storm but we're still in their league
-
We'll judging by how Sarge went today at Moore Park he's definitely come on. To out fight Jason Bunyan on his first ever visit to Moore Park was no mean feat in his first ride. I know Bunny isn't really Elite League standard anymore but he still takes some beating around New Zealand
-
James Sargent will make his debut in the New Zealand league tomorrow at Moore Park. Some good Winters workouts for him I'd imagine, especially as he will go head to head with Jason Bunyan. There will be updates provided on the Moore Park Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Mooreparkmotorcylespeedway/posts/483847225089173 for anyone that fancies a look.

The 2nd meeting of the New Zealand League takes place tomorrow at Moore Park and I'll be adding updates onto the Moore Park Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Mooreparkmotorcylespeedway/posts/483847225089173 for anyone that fancies a look. James Sargent and Jason Bunyan will both be involved so a bit of English interest too -
So the Kiwi riding for USA is now on a British Passport 😳

Nice that you are not going to use Jacobs against Coventry as he's our asset (I think!) 😉
