I don’t know what his Swedish league situation is but I wonder if Hans Andersen is a possibility?

Seem to remember when it was announced Belle Vue would hold the SWC in 2016, that there was a deal in place for it to be there in 2016, 2018 and 2020. May be wrong?

Best Teams You Can Build Under 50pt Limit
Wildcat replied to Paddy The Rebel's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
1. Chris Harris 9.21 2. Rory Schlein 7.17 3. Dave Watt 7.56 4. Troy Batchelor 7.36 5. Kenneth Bjerre 8.22 6. Nikolai Klindt 5.42 7. Josh Bates 5.02 Throw in Adam Ellis if he ends up on his 4.67 average. This cost cutting exercise the BSPA continue to embark on is going to cost them a fortune as riders like Batchelor and Klindt on low averages, will be able to demand what they want! -
Ice Speedway Fixtures 2015 - 2016
Wildcat replied to Hawk127's topic in International World of Speedway
I seem to remember Assen being announced for 5-6 March 2016, during this years event? Has it been put back a week to the 12-13? -
There are very different reasons for venues. Clearly Torun has (nearly) everything; great racetrack and good atmosphere. But for size, Cardiff will always better it (a one-off world final should attract vast numbers). Looks like Warsaw would be a potential venue too now. But, as I said, for very different reasons different venues will offer something. You could easily have one-off's at Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gorzow, Mallila, Bydgoszcz. Just depends if you want a good track or a good stadium!

What's more likely? Wells and Howarth or Cook and Morris?

Does anyone have a link for riders averages in Sweden and Poland? In particular the Elitserien and Extraliga.

Wild Cards For 09
Wildcat replied to beesbarmyarmy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
For me it should be. . Scott Nicholls Fredrik Lindgren Chris Holder Chris Harris. . Although hope Chris Holder is given another year (the same with Emil Saifutdinov and Jurica Pavlic). . so either Niels K. Iversen or Matej Zagar. . Although Iversen along with Jarek Hampel, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Bjarne Pedersen probably wont stand a chance becuase of their nationalities. . -

Having seen the first GP of the year, I have to agree that Nicki P looks good for the title again this year. Crumpy, although not at his best, did well to do aswell as he did considering his first few rides. Hans, Tomasz and Andreas looked the best challengers but are likely to have too many bad rounds as the season progresses. I expect Leigh and Scott to be back in the hunt for a rostrum place within a couple of rounds aswell.
