There has been lots of discussion about Madsen getting away with a flyer last night. He should have been excluded but instead got 3 points. The referee made a mistake but we are all human and all make mistakes. Under the current rules there are two ways to solve this. First is retrospective exclusion. If on replay a rider is found to have jumped to gain an advantage he then gets excluded with his points removed from the heat. The rider is treated as a non participant. Using Madsen's race in Prague as an example the rider finishing 2nd then gets promoted to win the race receiving 3 points. Madsen gets 0. Or have an assistant referee who can immediately watch a replay of the start of every race. Even using basic Sky Plus would allow an assistant ref to view the start and press the red button to stop a heat within 10 seconds. I'm not bothered if riders get to bend 3 before a race is stopped for the right reasons.

I know the argument is about Prague being a nice city to visit but there must be other nice places in Europe with better tracks than this. Dire meeting with riders jumping as they know they can't pass and one gate yards better than the rest. The riders cant enjoy this GP and the real fans don't either.

He had a warning and was then thrown out of a later race. That should have been two race exclusions. He has jumped early in 3 in 4 races.

Did travel plus close down in 2019 ? A shame as they seemed popular from comments seen on here. I would agree it is so easy to book your own weekend break when a track is in a big city centre.

Easy option is to disqualify Madsen after the race with Dudek taking the win. . But that is far too sensible a rule.

To remove a air corridor the UK threshold is roughly 20 infections for every 100k. Just seen on the news the UK is standing at 33. We are in danger of being stopped entering other countries not the other way round.

No. A rider can only win under the set of rules for that year.
