  1. https://assets.speedwayekstraliga.pl/2020/04/Terminarz-PGE-Ekstraligi-2020-COVID-19.pdf Fixture List
  2. We should see some practice meetings on the Internet from late May onward. The teams can't go straight into the Ekstraliga without riders dialling in.
  3. Unfair on the riders. Unprecedented times right now. They would want to ride in all the usual leagues and GP's but Covid-19 stops them with sensible quarantine laws in place to stop the spread..
  4. Unless Poland change there 14 day quaratine rule no Extraliga rider would be able to ride GPs and ride the Polish league. Choice to be made.
  5. Poland have a 14 day quarantine rule so all riders will have to stay in Poland full time to ride Extraliga. That makes any GP outside Poland impossible for any Polish based rider.
  6. Polish racing hoping to start. They are taking a strong view on pay and riders. https://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/8215/riders-facing-50-pay-cuts I WILL SAY SIMPLY: IF SOMEONE DOES NOT WANT TO SAVE SPEEDWAY, HIS WORK AND THE WORK OF HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE, AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE COMMON GOOD, THEN HE WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED BY SOMEONE ELSE.
  7. Teterow still advertised on the GP website as taking place. They missed your post to Iris.
  8. All professional sport and public gatherings in the Netherlands now banned until September 1st at the earliest. I'm expecting other countries to follow the lead of both Germany and Holland. Teterow will be off unless run with zero crowd.
  9. Munich isn't in Poland. Are you sure ? Even the least educated forum member will see the relevance of cancelling a mass gathering also linked to international travel. Germany are at the forefront of keeping infection numbers and deaths from the virus low. Just my opinion but other countries will have to follow this lead or could be made to look pretty stupid. Poland have been very decisive on closing their border at an early stage. Teterow sure to be off unless run with no crowd.
  10. It's a problem to find the right thread for this post so I'll add here. It is relevant with Warsaw being a huge city with an expected 50k crowd at a stadium near the city center. Oktoberfest held annually in Munich has been cancelled for 2020. Yet another indication of a country banning a mass gathering even as far ahead as October.
  11. Other thread says SON tickets are not refunded.
  12. don't be too hard on yourself, it starts with W so close enough
  13. Until the GP is officially cancelled there is no need to stop ticket sales. Surely anyone thinking of buying a ticket must know about C-19.
  14. Poland's 14 day quarentine applies to anyone entering up to May 3rd. After that no one knows yet.
  15. The 14 day quarentine applies to anyone entering up to May 3rd. After that no one knows yet.
  16. The Polish border is closed until May 3rd unless you have a work permit. But 14 days self isolation applied. The big question for the league starting is when does the border re-open and do foreign riders want to have a 14 day quarentine.
  17. I have read the terms and conditions. Selling tickets even at face value is not allowed. But I would tell them to stuff that.
  18. Manchester may sell out due to the smaller capacity and likely cheaper seats. Id worry about the added cost of buying an umbrella and heavy coat. Could that turn some people away. Cardiff would easily survive but no one could predict the exact fall in numbers attending. Could one feed off the other for positive publicity.
  19. Miss a year. 2020 GP top 15 remains for 2021.
  20. You hate Cardiff. But 40,000 plus go every year. End of conversation.
  21. Any fool can work out a roof is better than no roof. No matter when a meeting takes place there is a chance of rain in the UK.
  22. Disagree golf, speedway and Silverstone cannot be compared. Mass gathering of people with overseas travel involved for all three events.
  23. Maybe that's part of the reason but it's a huge crowd congregated daily plus movement of that crowd over the uk.. Having 45000 land on Cardiff not ideal for the same reason.
