If its closed for business the hotel has cancelled your reservation so you will get a 100% refund. Same as Easy Jet cancelling a flight as that is also full money back. Assume you don't mean the hotel has gone bust ? You will be in trouble getting money back if they have closed for ever. But in that case speak with your bank to get a refund under the terms of your debit card.

Hotels do not have to refund. Not there fault the GP is cancelled.

Fair. June 1st due to be next crucial date on lock down. Know a lot more on 2 weeks.

Weird no decision but it must be insurance. Has the Welsh government definitely said no crowds at sporting events. No expert on Welsh football but do they get a crowd worth talking about at matches

Do the rules of the GP series say there has to be a certain amount of GP's for a Champion to be crowned.

Yes likely. I was replying to the other poster as he mentioned Prague, that is a n absolute horror track for any passing. One off at Torun. Tickets would sell fast and I think it's a bigger capacity than Wroclaw. Obvious Warsaw if using a temp track but I'd like to steer clear of them.

Polish eWinner 1st League news
Mark replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
If the 2nd/3rd tier have a complete day of racing (Saturday) on there own its a possible that we get more TV matches and they won't clash with the top tier Friday/Sunday. It is nothing to do with which channel covers the meeting but the time and day the meeting is raced. If they do double up riders will not have a clash. With lower a pay scale in the 2nd Tier there must be a chance overseas riders will not base themselves in Poland for the summer as the numbers dont add up. Team gaps may need filling. Time will tell. -

Hope so as it avoids a clash with the top boys. More live matches and maybe they will have some doubling up -
Easy Jet should give a full refund if a flight is cancelled. Vouchers can be taken if wanted but you dont have to accept.

This highlights the big problem with a one off final. Run it at a really rubbish race track and we get the 'Best Gater' in the world. Pointless.

If a price is a Rip Off then do not pay. Prices will come down. Ryanair make no profit unless 90% of seats are full.

from his club - I confirm that Emil Sayfutdinov has signed a financial annex to the two-year contract in force on the terms proposed by the Club. I would like to emphasize that together with the Management Board and the Shareholders of the Club, we wanted to prevent the situation that Emil would not be able to compete in the Polish league. We urged him for a long time to sign a Warsaw contract or an annex and not block his driving in the Polish league, which was associated with suspension. After long talks and rethinking our proposal by Emil, the Russian signed on the terms proposed by the club. At the moment, as I clearly point out, Emil is not taken into account when determining the match composition of Unia Leszno. He has important contact with Unia Leszno, and whether he will compete in our colors will turn out in the future. Loans or other terms of cooperation may be involved, but this topic will concern further talks. At the moment we are finishing our agonizing about Emil and his staying in the FOGO Unia Leszno team - said Piotr Rusiecki, President of the Board.

Ryanair get a fair bit of criticism but they charge a very small sum to fly 2 or 3 hours return trip. A return to any part of Europe for less than £100 is very cheap. A 20 minute taxi ride in central London costs the same as flying to Spain.

Waiting to be told by the Government that mass events cannot be held or the stadium is needed as a hospital. Then BSI claim the insurance. At the moment there is no reason not to hold the GP as we're officially locked away only to end of this week. That changes on May 10th when we are told the UK exit plan.

Ready for the 2nd wave if we get one. Whoever put the plan together to get the tewmporary hospitals built in such a a short time did a great job.

Tarnow reporting the League due to start 11th or 18th July Everything indicates that the season in eWinner 1st and 2nd Speedway League will start. Club activists during Monday consultations with the Main Speedway Sport Committee stated that they are ready to take up the challenge. - All first league clubs have declared their willingness to start in this year's competition. They are ready to take the challenge. And this means that the games should start on the dates we previously communicated - says Zbigniew Fiałkowski, vice president of GKSŻ. Let's add that the start of the eWinner 1st League is scheduled for mid-July. This scenario assumes that the 2020 season will consist of only the main round. GKSŻ representatives asked activists about financial issues. The situation in eWinner 1. League clubs is difficult at the moment. However, activists are not going to give up. They know that they will face a difficult fight to close their budgets, but all clubs want to take it, because the future of all Polish speedway is at stake. - We already know that along the way we will certainly encounter many more problems, but we have told ourselves together that we will solve them step by step. We want to save this competition - emphasizes Piotr Szymański, chairman of GKSŻ. Let us add that the clubs of the 2nd Speedway League presented a similar position. In the lowest class, the season would start at the beginning of August.

Stopping or stemming a global pandemic is a bit higher up the importance list than a Cardiff GP. You'll find out next Sunday for certain if a large gathering of 40,000+ people will be allowed in mid July. Even the most optmistic person would struggle to think Cardiff will take place with or without a crowd. Once the government say the GP cannot be held then insurance will be claimed and tickets refunded.
