I would like to see him do very well but as I said last week he isn't quick enough at the moment. Beating up lower grade riders around BV is fine but in his second ride today he met Janowski, Zafar and Laguta. He was timid in the corners which in Poland sees you out the team very quick.
If a rider went through the tapes in every heat of 20 can each reserve have 10 rides.
If a reserve had 5 rides and won them all would he qualify for the next stage of the GP.
That can happen any year with a broken arm or collarbone. Happened to loads of riders like Janowski & Woffinden in 2019. But 2020 is unlike any other so lets get on with it and do the best we can.
That makes sense. Could run from mid September for four weekends. Eight GP's in four weeks would be overload for some but I would support it. Its an odd year so odd things will have to happen.
Only my opinion but I think our quarantine law will change by July 31st if the daily figures keep improving. So many people want a holiday, airlines will suffer even more damage if airports do not open fully and we'll have 1000's of redunacies caused by that. We need tourism over here or hotels will die too. The economy has to get a jump start.
His partner will help but he will face top riders from the opposition. I hope he goes well but think its a leap too high at the moment. There is no UK league to build confidece and win points. In the deep end. Lack of meetings may mess with a lot of riders.
Czestochowa top 5 look very strong if everyone stays fit. Big year for Dan Bewley, I'm not sure he is good enough to cope in the top division but hope to be proven wrong.
Warsaw is 50,000, has that solkd out every year, I don't think so. Cardiff sells about 40,000. The other two Polish stadiums are not very big in comparision. Reading comments on here it seems Gorzow and Torun sell thousands of tickets to UK supporters. Its not Polish fans filling stadiums.
