  1. it was stupid by the russian. he needs to tone down a bit as he is almost touches a back wheel or does stupid things like this. He lent on hans front wheel and caused the crash. he'll stop doing it when he puts himself in hospital with a serious injury. hopefully he wont put someone else there first
  2. i will, should be cut and thrust stuff providing there is some dirt
  3. So the youngsters are in. You would think Scott and Rico are pensionable age. They are 30 at most with a lot of years ahead. Hancock is 39, Gollob roughly the same. Are the Aussies, who have as much chance as us of winning the title as it's raced for in Poland, going to drop GP flop Leigh Adams because of his age just to blood a younger rider ? No, they pick there current strongest side. In a match race Nicholls / Rico against King, Kennett, Woofy or Bridger I know who I would fancy given a fair palying field with gates. Would any of those 4 have beaten Andreas Jonnson as Scotty did on Saturday. My view is no, cos they aren't yet good enough. Performancies in the leagues prove that. Respect to Rob Lyon for having the guts to select this controversial team (and drop his captain) but it's highly likely we will be thrashed and embarrassed at Peterborough, a track which will suit the Poles. If we win 4 heats it will be a victory. God help us in Poland if we actually make the race off. All this is written in the hope Rob Lyon is right and I'm proved wrong
  4. Nicholls has to be in the team. If he's not in your top 5 GB riders then i feel your mistaken. Kennett hates peterborough so maybe King should be in front of him but he still doesn't make the team Nicholls Bomber Rico Woofy Bridger That is my Peterborough team and we need some dirt on the track. If slick we have no chance of winning more than half a dozen races. Kennett King as reserves I'd even think of Screen if there was some dirt but he doesnt really want to ride as he says to use the kids
  5. I doubt anyone will be interested in 3rd/4th place. It might ruin the welsh open should england get to the WC final but after yesterday's meeting they may have shot themselves in the foot. It was a dust bowl.
  6. I'm a big Nicholls fan but cannot disagree with any of the above. He is so out of form and frustrated it must be awful. Having watched the peterborough match on sky it looked like his bikes lacked any power at all. Unless he turns the corner by the World Cup it makes sense to unfortunately give him a rest. hoping he can get some form
  7. I have always wanted to make the trip to Bydgozcz but cannot this year. what is the nightlife like and are the poles friendly
  8. have we an update on his injury does he ride in copenhagen
  9. where is the best view for a numbered seat please. is the first bend stand a long way back with a poor view
  10. the exclusion was awful, nikki p robbed, feel sorry for the man crump was lucky as he was beaten in both semi and final but got a second bite in re runs well done hans for checking on walsceck when he t boned him. great sportsmanship adams is gone as a rider on anything bar a smooth track as he is now safety first scott having a nightmare, feel real sorry for ther guy
  11. if you think 8th / 9th in the world isn't very good then you need to think again. get behind the guys
  12. me and my 3 pals are looking for a room. how much are they.
  13. I think it is 17,000 not 1,700 for a full crowd which will stop you worrying. Try mailing biuro@polonia.bydgoszcz.pl. Magda will put you on her list and make sure you get a ticket. She is helpful and speaks english better than me. hope this helps wolfy
  14. Why dont you miserable sods get behind those from your country. It really grates on me that many want to knock our riders. Let's get behind them, stop moaning, and it might just do some good. It is easy to criticise.
  15. I'd have Bridger in the team as he is riding very well. Woofy isn't at the moment. a few weeks to go before team selection so plenty can happen
  16. Last night was the most boring meeting I have ever seen with almost no passing. It was a trappers track and a total waste of time. when riders like Pedersen can't get past vastly inferior riders it sums up a track. no wonder the stadium was half empty Slick tracks will kill the GP series as the crowd want to see some passing. I did consider going to Prague but after seeing last years and last night there is no chance of a visit. When you can fill in the program after bend 2 there is no point.
  17. people might be right saying not good enough but he's never been a good gater. Last night was the most boring meeting I have seen with almost no passing. It was a trappers track and a total waste of time. when riders like Pedersen can't get past vastly inferior riders it sums up a track. no wonder the stadium was half empty
  18. Prague is a trappers paradise. Hans 1st Pedersen 2nd Crump 3rd Scott 4th Adams isn't gating in UK so he could be in trouble but his bikes look fast. Scott's draw looks quite good so he should pick up points to get to the semi's as a minimum.
  19. Lindgren is in good form but he's been beating non GP riders in the UK. It will be a big step up when he gets to Prague.
  20. I wrote on here about a year ago that I thought Scott Nicholls was slightly overweight. Not fat but he's a solid built guy who could tone down a little bit thus taking weight off the bike. Nikki P led the way with losing weight. I see from Kelvin Tatum's comments that he has lost plenty of weight so well done to Scott. His scores have been good as well. Hopefully top 5 this year and a GP win
  21. I'm surprised that Diamond cannot remember Nicholls coming from behind. The race you quote (Dribble) he DID come from behind. He is rarely away from the tapes first. If he loses a stone in weight, gets fitter, he will do really well. A brave rider who is very determined. Let's get behind the Brits
  22. Scott has made enough finals to make me think he can win one. The main problem is his lack of points in the 5 heats meaning he gets a poor gate choice. Hopefully he can get a few more points and do the job. The talent is there and I hope he loses a stone in weight by training hard over the winter, Come on Scotty you can do it.
