  1. any point from bad gates is a bonus. we are doing super
  2. i'd guess its about money. Poland will fill up a stadium for a qualifier and so will GB. If the danes go to the play off then that gets a crowd and so will the final when they qualify. agree thye joker is stupid unless GB get 6 by using it the last time we had a reserve i think the Poles claimed an injury. this allowed another rider to take the place of a rider who wasn't going well after 2 or 3 heats. it changed the course of the final which was possibly in Poland. hope the track has some dirt on it for the final otherwise it will be very boring
  3. Steads first two look hard races from gates 2 and 3. If he gets anything from them rides we will be lucky woofys first two look ok to get him off to a good start with some points
  4. poor racing on a dust bowl track. probably same on saturday Danes didnt take a joker when they could have on heat 6 or 7. Why did kelvin say keep it back for later. I feel you should take it immediately you can or you may never get the chance.
  5. Is there a link for the live stream please
  6. It's really sad when people spread gossip of this type when it's not true. Only a juvenile would do that. Hope you're proud of yourself for trying to cause trouble.
  7. Pedersen has broken his shoulder blade. his website confirms the injury today
  8. Australian team manager Craig Boyce has confirmed the men from Down Under will be without national team legends Jason Crump and Leigh Adams at the Speedway World Cup. Crump is set to undergo an operation on his arm, which will rule him out for the tournament, while Adams has confirmed he will not participate after his retirement from international racing last year. Instead, the Aussies will track a young side including British SGP winner Chris Holder, Peterborough hotshot Troy Batchelor and World Under-21 champion Darcy Ward. They will be joined by Rory Schlein, while Poole skipper Davey Watt follows up his Grand Prix debut in Cardiff last Saturday by captaining his country for the first time at the Norfolk Arena. With a month until the next round of the World Championship – the Scandinavian SGP in Malilla on August 14 – Boyce can understand why Crump has chosen to have his operation now. But Boyce has backed his young guns to make the most of their chance to shine on the world stage. He said: “We’ve still got a very strong team. Time goes by and the faces change. It’s part of life. But I’m sure these guys will love it. “We’ll just have to get on and do the best we can do with the guys we have got. I’m sure if the guys are up for it, we’ll be alright. “Jason had a serious injury with his arm last year and I think he’s still not 100 percent right. I think he’s just trying to get his arm right, so that there are no complications in the future.” While most of the team have raced in the SWC before, Poole youngster Ward will make his debut in the competition. Despite only making his bow in the British Conference League with former King’s Lynn-based team Boston in 2008, Ward has quickly established himself as one of world speedway’s fastest rising stars. And Boyce is confident there is more to come from the 18-year-old. He said: “Darcy’s career is going along nicely. He’s lucky to get a chance and I’m sure he’ll enjoy it. "Darcy is a quality rider, he’s learning all the time and I’m sure there is a lot more for him to do. He has definitely done well since he came over. He has been good.” Boyce was also quick to throw his backing behind former Poole team mate Watt, after handing him the job of leading his young side. He said: “Davey is a generation older than those guys. He’s a good character for them to look up to, he has the gift of the gab and I’m sure he will do a good job. He’s had a good year and hopefully it will get better for him.”
  9. how do you view these meetings are they free if thats a stupid question sorry but im not very good on a pc
  10. i'd go for King as 5th rider. he did well last year at Peterborough. Stead doesn't score well enough, locks up too much
  11. Both have had many chances to qualify for top 8 but have failed each time so if they're not top 8 or in via qualies they shouldn't be in for 2011. They cant rely of a WC year after year like Nicholls did. how many wild cards did Nicholls get. Thought he qualified as top 8 a few times
  12. has anything official been said about Emil's absense. A broken upper arm could be 3 months given the strength required to ride a bike
  13. We are only 4 rounds into the season and Crump has won one GP. Cant say he's not going to come back strong in the next 7 as he is still winning races. If Hampel or Bjerre are champion after 11 rounds they deserve the title as you dont get lucky over a season. Gollob has failed because he is inconsistant and always throws in a terrible GP or two. Cardiff will be his big one. Nikki P looks slow but is somehow still 7th so he will be involved when he gets his bikes sorted shaping up to be best and closest season with anyone in top 8 able to win.
  14. Disagree. Andersen went under his elbow and there isnt a rule that prevents that. By the time they got to the bend both were in full control, hans was in the lead, but Bomber went into the back of Hans rather than shutting off so he had to bail out. Hans only fell because Bombers bike collected him. i agree that he should have waited as he would have got past the Cornish Pastie later in the race. Given the bad conditions it was a brave move that went into an air fence.
  15. Get behind the GB boys Bomber has to deliver or he is yesterdays news Woofy can have 2 seasons to find his feet but then he has to deliver. Big learning curve. Nicholls has proved himself better than these 2 in the past
  16. Visit gamblers anonymous or let me take your bets.
  17. Eddie Kennett in the GP's Dont make me laugh. Good solid young rider but its been proven on numerous occasions, at Cardiff & World Cup, that he isn't currently good enough. His record on bigger tracks is poor. If he went into the GP's he would probably finish last in each round. We should get behind the Brits, push them, but only when ready and he isn't ready yet.
