You not been to specsavers yet? Don't disagree with that at all Poole much better, just leaves a sour taste and another dent in the elite league. I wish Mr Ford could see the big picture. Is it really such a sporting achievement anymore to win the elite league I'd take more pride in winning the premier.

I like many sports but this has to be the worst run league in any sport, what a farce. I was looking forward to watching both these matches tonight but think I'll give it a miss and look forward to the next GP. The ego of one owner is spoiling the whole thing, how you could be proud of winning this league is beyond me.

The facts are that since the original phone call to scott ref the peterborough match Rob Lyon continually suggested that both Scott and Lee would be reconsidered for the play off if we made it. Once he has done this the courteous thing to do when he has made his mind up would be to call Scott and Lee. It would appear what has happened is that the initial phone call has been made and to soften the blow for both parties a carrot was dangled ref the play off. However to finish of matters Rob should have called scott with his decision. Poor team management in my eyes nothing to do about sulking, scotty just telling how it was. As the article states lots of people have been questioning him on what happened so he told it. wolfy!!!!!

according to the speedway gp site it looks like only Richardson is be be brought in and no scotty. wolfy!!!!

All i know is that if i did not like someone as much as some do with Scotty i would not waste my time typing about it on a keyboard, sad really. Would be nice to see more discussion about the approach that was taken last night with the team, which for my two penny's worth was needed. wolfy!!!!!

How the hell can you have an opinion on something that is fact!!!!! I'm all for everyone having an opinion of him but to have an opinion on a black and white printed scorecard of the british riders championship (5 times) is plain ridiculous. My apologies i thought the thread title was referring to the incident on saturday not a comparison on the rest of the season!!!!!!! If thats the case i totally agree Emil will be streets ahead of Scotty by the end of the season and as a individual rider will most probably achieve a lot more. But if as you say this thread is not just referring to the said incident why do we not compare on domestic titles and riding as a team captain. Two league titles in three years, and four other trophies. A well proven captain. And yes his best years are more than likely over, his best achievement was 7th individually. not everyone can be world champion but at least he had a go and made it to being a GP rider. Something a lot of riders would jump at. wolfy!!!!
