Thursday is a different day and all that, but I felt the Swedes picked up some momentum as the meeting progressed whereas the Aussies will be on a downer having not qualified directly to the final from a strong start. Jonsson back and a replacement for Nermark and Sweden look to have what it takes to beat tonight's Aussie line-up in my opinion.

Can't disagree with what anyone has said previously. The meeting started poorly but the climax was good as the track slickened off. GB deserved it on the night. I thought Lindgren was the pick of the riders on display and I fancy Denmark and Sweden to knock the Aussies out on Thursday.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. Gutted for Gollob who was immense in his first five rides but you can't help but feel stoked for Holder.

With JDC as TM, that 5 would take some stopping. Derek Sneddon is long overdue the call to represent Team GB and if the Peter Oakes speedway almanac is consulted you'll see Adam McKinna destroyed more TRs than any other rider at PL level last season.

You won't get in.
