Well it appears that Simon Lambert will not be a Rocket this season after all Taken from the Stoke website STOKE Easy Rider Potters are delighted to announce that Simon Lambert will remain at the club after deliberation between Rye House and the speedway authorities have confirmed that Simon is not eligible to double up. Given the situation Simon Lambert has opted to remain with the club for the remainder of the season something which Simon had always maintained would always be the case in such circumstances. Stoke team manager Malcolm Vasey said “Simon has proven to be a man of integrity. He promised me at the outset of his current arrangement with Stoke that he would remain with the club until the end of the season. Despite offers from elsewhere Simon has remained resolute that he would continue as a Potter. I admire his resilience and honesty which is a rare quality these days.” Simon will ride at Buxton in the new look Stoke septet which faces the Hitmen in the National Trophy on Sunday.

No re-declaration by Rye House in the new declarations issued today on the bspa site, I wonder why? Also Simon is still in the Stoke declaration and seems odd that Stoke have not commented on this either

Stoke V Dudley (saturday 21st July, Nl. 7:30pm)

I applaud riders of both teams especially if it's a cracking race as there were last night, I respect the riders for going out and entertaining me regardless of who they ride for but hey each to their own if you don't want to applaud all winners then fine. -

Tongue in cheek a certain greedy Jan O wanted 4 points not 3 after Ash Birks was withdrawn lol Well done to the Heathens on maintaining their unbeaten league record. -
Stoke Vs Kings Lynn (nl) 14th July @7pm

Providing the meeting at Dudley on August 7th then Ben will go up into the team on August 14th. It's got nothing to do with the rules it's more to do with the weather, it's quite right the riders averages change after 3 home 3 away meetings but due to postponements Stoke have not been able to do 3 away league matches. No matter what rules on averages you make if the weather causes problems as it has done this season then it's one of those things. Or Bob are you blaming Stoke controlling the weather at other tracks??? -
Stoke Sign Lambert (that's Simon, Not Robert!)

Two sides to this has Kev has already said. Had Stoke waited one more match they would not have been able to make the changes necessary. As Jaimie has said "Deep down he had a feeling this was going to happen and holds no grudges toward Stoke at all, the management did what they felt was right and in the best interests of Stoke, that's speedway." -

With regard to Simon Lambert: Reg: 17.2.2 When riders transfer between two leagues and when a conversion is necessary (in this case) PL to NL you divide by 0.6 which would leave Simon on an 8.70 average so we therefore have to go for Simon's previous average of 9.46 which is the higher average. Hope this clears this up. -

Stoke's team has been ratified by the BSPA which has to be good news for Stoke supporters -

What you are missing is that Simon Lambert has been brought in to replace Richie Worrall not Jaimie. Unfortunately Jaimie has been caught up in this because of the points limit. I do not remember Malcolm saying Stoke are a development team I do remember him saying that Stoke want to win some silverware. There is a development side to the team though in Ben Reade, Liam Carr and Ross Walter to name three of the team all three pointers at the start of the season how many are Stoke supposed to have??? Stoke have now signed Adam Wrathall another youngster what really do you want? -
All rides are counted in league matches not just programmed rides so taking seven rides does make a difference

Potters V Heathens - 2nd Leg Staffs Cup

What a complete and utter idiot you are. A rider down complaining off back pain come on St Johns throw him in the back of the ambulance Heathen1984 is complaining oh what a shame - The St Johns did everything they were supposed to and looked after the rider in order to make sure he did not cause himself more damage. I notice you've not complained about the delay in heat 10 when Byron was also down for a considerable amount of time, is it just you want opposing riders to get hurt??? You are a complete disgrace to all Dudley supporters and speedway supporters in general. I hope that Jaimie and Byron are okay and back racing soon, it's not nice to see any rider get hurt no matter what team they ride for and if it prevents further injury to a rider I fully support the St Johns for however long they are dealing with a rider. -

Tuesday 8th May the Potters will be on the Island for the second leg of the Wightlink Trophy.
-
No not at the moment
-
39.13 is the answer see the Potters website
-
Yes that is correct.
-
Sorry my error it's actually Kyle Hughes not Howarth Doh!!!
-
As I was in the referees' box I can confirm that no rider asked for a track grade never mind a track inspection. As Neil Vatcher GB Under-21 manager said in an interview after "it was a case of the riders over trying as they all wanted to qualify for the final."
-
For Stoke it is the NL Track Record counts and as has previously been said stands at: 62.6 held by Jamie Pickard (Stoke) 21 May 2011 & Simon Lambert (Stoke) 24 July 2011
-
I don't prepare tracks and neither do you I presume. I do know there was heavy rain last night and this morning as I got soaked in it.
-
Yes it was called off because of the track and nothing else. Perhaps you would have preferred a situation like they had at Belle Vue yesterday? Apparently some supporters would have preferred that it had been called off even earlier that it actually was there's no pleasing some is there
