  1. They are parked there all week also and have been parked there on race nights for the latter part of this current season.
  2. Not with all the rain we had Thursday night and then most of the day yesterday, better for it to be done now rather than have riders and supporters travelling all that way. I know a lot of people including me that would slam a promotion knowing the track was wet, soft and more rain due and they knew it was forecast petrol etc is expensive enough without travelling a long way for nothing or is it just because it's Stoke you've decided to have a dig???
  3. Sorry there won't be updates from tonight's meeting Elliot has the meeting has been postponed
  4. Yes he has and Steve Worrall has joined Stoke replacing him
  5. Team changes for tonight's meeting: Ben Reade will slot into the No 2 position after his Premier League meeting for Plymouth at Rye House was postponed while Robert Branford replaces Byron Bekker for the Isle of Wight
  6. Ben had carb problems in his opening three heats and ended up switching bikes for his final two rides mate. Shane was released from hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning.
  7. The website has now been updated
  8. It was also on Signal 1's website also, but initially Signal 2 were the one's that broadcast it.
  9. Pleased to see Charles is back leading the Hitmen very good signing
  10. Hit the nail on the head imo and mine only
  11. Stoke have the NL Fours and will join Mildenhall, IOW and Kent in the National Trophy at the start of the season.
  12. Yep it has it was on Tuesday
  13. Isn't Lee about to have his 30th birthday early this year? If so it may well rule him out of the Stoke team under the current regulations
  14. Stoke have 3.34 Liam's average is unfortunately 3.61 therefore Liam does not fit
  15. He does could that be he just did not get on with the IOW circuit? Maybe finance could also have something to do with it as someone has already said
  16. Just because none have been announced it does not say that none have been signed Chubby
  17. I have to say it is a sensible decision to stay in the National League. I feel that it would be far better to get a stadium of your own first before taking the plunge into the PL as riders wages in the Premier increase significantly and if the promotion had to dip into the funds built up for a new stadium project when a piece of land is eventually found for Dudley it could put the club at risk and as a Stoke supporter (even if we do have our banter between clubs) I'd not like the Heathens to get into that situation, I'd much prefer to see the Heathens in their own stadium moving into the PL with stability and continuing their success and then eventually long term moving back into the Elite League where I think everyone believes the Heathens should be. I'm sure the Heathens supporters will get behind the club now the decision has been made and knowing the promotion at Dudley I'm sure they'll put together another cracking team for 2013.
  18. Phil, Stoke have only done 2 years at NL level the first being 2011 and the second this season 2012 so next season would be the 3rd. Also the 3 year plan statement you seem to be aligning to was NOT made by Dave Tattum it was made by someone else.
  19. It is correct Bob James has signed for Stoke
  20. I think the statement makes it clear that Simon would only ride for the Rockets if he doubled up as it says loyalty and a mans word counts a lot and well done to Simon for sticking to his word. Perhaps clubs should not make announcements on signings until they have been cleared by the authorities.
  21. No Stoke won't be making a new signing taken off the Stoke website STOKE Easy Rider Potters are delighted to announce that Simon Lambert will remain at the club after deliberations between Rye House and the speedway authorities have confirmed that Simon is not eligible to double up. Given the situation Simon Lambert has opted to remain with the club for the remainder of the season something which Simon had always maintained would always be the case in such circumstances. Stoke team manager Malcolm Vasey said “Simon has proven to be a man of integrity. He promised me at the outset of his current arrangement with Stoke that he would remain with the club until the end of the season. Despite offers from elsewhere Simon has remained resolute that he would continue as a Potter. I admire his resilience and honesty which is a rare quality these days.” Simon will ride at Buxton in the new look Stoke septet which faces the Hitmen in the National Trophy on Sunday.
