  1. well done kings lynn for holding on. you cannot win meetings with a team containing four reserves. in the first 9 races 12 of the home positions were taken up by reserves, and you wonder why the bees so far behind, we have a national league team up until heat 10! its all a bit sad and depressing to think this could be the last season with such a poor team, yes i was one who paid to go!
  2. coleshill, no too far out.... you can hear the pensioners complaining about it already!
  3. i think they are referring to the golf course that went bust in exhall, one of CCFC "pretend" re location sites!
  4. we are not interested in season saving riders more face saving riders! season already gone, no point pretending, king couldnt win a reserve race at the moment
  5. ok as its our last season lets manic now! King is very much Edward Kennet mould, looks impressive especially when second, but just cant overtake, no way on gods earth is he a heat leader even in this league, half decent second string. a straight replacement for Bjerre would at least make us competitive. The reality of last years top 5 is that they were very inconsistent but this was hidden by garitty at reserve. Now he is the main body King has become exposed. I think its great that garitty wants to be in the main body so well done a brit showing some ambition. has his moved up also exposed sergeants inconsistency as well? either way a new reserve and a new heat leader urgently required
  6. i think i ment 65! still you get the idea1 i think we are nailed on for a minimum of 15 points, you look at the teams and think "how could they have been built under the same rules"
  7. ill stick my neck and say we will keep it tight till around 7:30pm after that it will be carnage 75-25
  8. when you look at the wolves team rider by rider and compare with the bees, its not hard to see how we got stuffed, expected a 40-50 and wasn't far off. i know its early days but its pretty obvious already the team isnt strong enough, struggled to beat Leicester, harris or KK have an off night or even and off ride and were in trouble. king only beat bech all night, obviously thats the weak link because garrity and woryna doing roughly what is required. but changing one of the top five, does not address the massively weak reserves either
  9. you may have 7 points plus to play with BUT you cant use them! the secret heat leaders list, anyone on 7+ must be on that list...... or will as soon as we approach them! anderson is classed as a heat leader at 6.45, so im guessing anyone on a 6+ average will be classed as that. if bjerre is classed as a heat leader (he should reallY) this takes it down to 5.87! so in reality only 5.90(ish) to play with
  10. i think the reality is that the promoters know what each others teams will be, clearly for there to remain the number of teams in the league the building points has to be reduced again. this is all part of living within the means. at the moment i have no idea if this team is good or bad, i have a strong suspicion that once all the other teams are known this will be one of the strong ones! doesn't say much for the league but hey ho . and at the risk of getting abuse, its about time the concessions price was adjusted!
  11. well thats the end then, looks like they have given up. once your out the stadium in a new venue nothing will happen 1 year left.
  12. " composition of the SCB Court in that it did not fully comply with the 2015 Speedway Regulations." so basically someone was in there making decisions when they had no right to, i dont suppose we will find out who! the whole meeting was a farce, i was there and it never should have started, that being said we should equally have been grown up and ridden heat 10.
  13. what a lot of moaning and groaning, it was obvious after heat one at home that we were not strong enough, even before the poole "ringer"
  14. lets be honest, did we stand a chance? no not really, the damage has been done in the first leg. is this ford up to his old tricks? yes of course it is, he want leave anything to chance. compassionate leave, is an option an employer can give to any worker if they feel its warranted. so saying its a "medical note" is just rubbish. technically Coventry could now issue compassionate leave for the entire team and have the storm ride instead, on the grounds that they are all stressed after the first leg. its nonsense, we all know it is and will be stopped in the winter. does make a difference to what the core would have been? no ford just making sure on the percentages
  15. it made a change to be at a proper meeting and for once no off track moaning! better result than expected, lost my money in the sweepstake in the bar! just shows that a team full of gaters will always win over racers, just like the GP really
  16. i do enjoy reading them when i get home, its normally what we are all thinking!
  17. i use a android app from my programmes, its free, "speedway programme" very good. not available for apple
  18. if its raining all that will happen is that they will get rid of the dirt make it smooth, home advantage gone! why would we do that? it doesn't matter for the poole leg as the only dirt to be found there is on the arriving bikes!
  19. what the challenge shows is that on a normally prepared track harris is a good rider, not brilliant but good. i much prefer harris than the "percentage" riding of greg and tai. get a facst gate hang on for second place is greg methodology, not exciting to watch at all. tai, now has realised its a numbers game and is content with seconds, To me the GP scoring is at fault, whoever wins the final should get five points more than the highest score, making getting to the final and winning the GP the most important thing.
  20. bad weather and a sky meeting, means i wont go anywhere near it! ill be there on friday as usual
  21. neil, i think we all agree, it does rather depend on what Poole have to say of course, they appear to have the casting vote in most things!
  22. have to agree we are very fragile at home, shows itself when the away team has half decent reserves
  23. there was an incident at coventry probably 5 years back were the sidecar crashed through the start area, sending marshalls running for cover. sidecars are hilariously dangerous!
  24. i dont think any team wants to got the the arena with its massive home advantage, the kings lynn team has done nothing away but are in the play offs because of the home advantage, the track isnt what it was
