i wish people would stop slagging bsi off, at least they have transformed the GP's and the world cup into fast exciting events, left to the bspa what would have happened? no wtc, maybe a grand prix at a boring normal track. sometimes you need to sit back and see what they have done, how quickly we forget whos idea cardiff was? from a business point of view, it was probably cheaper to buy the reading outfit than rent say poole, or coventry for that matter, perhaps the bspa were trying to spong too much off without contributing too much! at the end of the day the majority of th bspa stadiums are rubbish tips run by a bunch of dodgy used car salesman. im not saying bsi are perfect, but for god sake they have brought glamour and a bit more exposure to the sport, something the bspa wouldnt have a clue how to start!

i cant make a judgement on the track and of what happened, because clearly i wasnt there. the only thing i can say however in this being my 30 years of supporting speedway is, never never Believe a word a speedway promoter has to say, theres always an alternative spin reason for what they say. i dont think publiclly attacking riders is going to great things for the future of the sport at that venue... or was that the idea? having condemed half the aussie speedway riders, due you really think they would want to ride there again? as i said i dont know what really happened, but i always look for alterio motives where speedway promoters are concerened, they dont have a great track recored!

obviously not! if you own an event and own a stadium, why would you rent someone elses? obvious, plus good for local coverage

there is another route to the stadium, it comes up on the other side, less fans much quicker, cant remember which line, but you end up by the bar next to the ticket tent! very quick back to the centre too, by 11 if i remember!

its very easy to predict this sport! a first timer to speedway kept asking me lots of questions, like why did you prdict that crash when pederson was in red i also predicted B.pederson would not get excluded because it does say rule 63.1 not poole rider can be excluded! apart from the first exclusion what can crump complain about? way too slow and desperate, the other two exclusions were fair, a good fun night, but ther appeared less than normal? or was that because where i was sitting? oh and got into bed in coventry at 12:15 sorry mr policeman!

the gp points should be the number actually scored, not there position. in that waybthe rider will constantly be going for points

Blimey what a fuss! The meeting was lost before the heat, never liked Anderson his action just confirms what i thought! however coming off gate 1 (the slowest of the night) Scott was never going to catch PK! he was "impeded" for half a back straight, plenty of track left. Regarding Richardson, i agree this was very odd, however, lee avoided the Pole, it would have been better i suppose for him to plough into him? the pole in this situation would have been excluded anyway, so a correct result if a tad biased! How about Lindbacks last ride? Am i the only one to notice that he had TWO wheels over the white line on the first turn? thats an exclusion to me? could have made all the difference.

i think it should be a combination of both. 20 permanate riders and 4 wild cards the top 8 do not compete in the first section. you are left with the bottom 12 plus the four wild cards. these are reduced to 8 by the present GP method, ie two strikes and your out. these 8 and the top 8 then ride the traditional 20 heat system, with all points counting as GP. then the top 4 race of for the final, 10 pts for a win 5 for second 3 for third 0 for last

i had a fab day, stayed in the Hotel with Westlife! im sure they spent more than £60 for a 4 star room , but hey ho. lots of ale at sams bar had a chat to Les Collins who sat on our table for two hours, i requested that he becomes a grade 1 for coventry then down the back staright. i took the girlfriend, first time GP for her, i had to calm her down, got well into it, shouting and screaming and drinking my beer appologies for all around me but if you will sit like dolls then thats your problem

you culd never get an athletics track inside the stadium

woody try the vale spa and golf resort its 4 star but only £66 a night. its a tad way out but we could share a cab back?
