yes the same 1-7 bit a novelty for you was it? 2009 you have twenty riders 2008 you had 18 ! you couldnt change the riders because they all came on dodgy averages, as soon as they got "proper averages" there was no way on earth they could be changed, if was possible doyle and king arthur would have been ditched in seconds -

i wonder what matt ford and steve shovlar doing tonight? nice take way currie followed by a movie where they both star? i would love to come around and watch but ive got other things to do tonight! lets keep all this going its just making certain people even more rediculous than we thought! i do feel sorry for the vast majority oif poole fans who just want this to stop and move on. poole the liverpool of speedway, i guess matt will be considering going to the premier league now? -

PirateNick, you are a credit to your team and fans and its noive to know that poole fans share the same opinion on certain posters. we will always welcome you back in the bar with the banter that we had great fun! the only point i would make about shamek, is that in the first leg he only had four rides and we won by 12 points in the second leg he had seven, he would have had five because of eddies in jury, lets take six points off his score to be charitable, which means the final seocnd leg score would have been a maximum of 46-44 to poole, ergo its a smoke screen poole would have lost anyway! would keep posting but must get ready to recieve the trophy from the dogheads, -

the fact that they could only score ONE MORE POINT at home than away in apprently a spud field may have something to do with pooles loss. but then what do expect from the blond mullet other than rubbish like this "matt ford you are talking rubbish, your fired!" just makes the whole team and the club look like soar moaning losers! HAVE SOME HUMILITY FOR GODSAKE! -

using 42 points i think if you got rid of bridger and replaced him with 4 pointer auty say, that would complete our team building for next year! -

couldn't agree more perhaps we underestimate the effort and cost to become established? for all the plaudits for holders season, his going to finish 8th with a gp win, pretty much identical to harris's first season (equal 8th!) what new faces have actually broke into the top 8 over the last 10 years? the russian emil, and thats about it? its essentially a closed shop -

my take on the schlien bomber thing, obviously it was a bad decision because schlien managed to hang on, he was pointing to the fence at one point. from bombers point of view can anyone remember the last time he just fell off? without contact 2008 springs to mind it just doesnt happen! the real reason i think is that having ridden with schlien for four years he knows what his like "jesus this guys a big girls blows when its grippy he canny handle it captain" so expected him to get into trouble. do i thik it was the right decision no, but i can see why bomber got of! -

dont think the local press were too empressed, this is a great article: http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/speedway/panthers_44_coventry_49_panthers_big_night_turns_into_a_damp_squib_1_1172451 mind you i wouldnt expect that kind of vitriol from a local rag -

think schlien gets more than his fair share of these because of his un tidy style. a couple of years ago he was excluded at wolves when he was out in fron out of the bend when the two wolves riders come together, just the stupidity of preparing a track like that, pboro team are lets be honest primarily gaters, think this would have worked against poole to be honest, just plain dumb and for that reason i wont be investing! -

with all the gating tarts in the pboro i expect to see bricks already visable from heat 1, you could see pboro and poole shinning from space, two massive O's like a big owl -

yes a dam fine effort, much better than the pugwash manager, which will be where all the negative comments come from. you cant blame bomber it is a team of five! thought he was outstanding and at last shows how to mix it at gp level, pitty we donr see it at brandon! -

with the best will in the world i go to canary wharf twice a week and if thats the east end then im a dutch man, no jellied eels to be seen! The east end around hackney & west ham are dangerous places to us who are not used to it! i have onlt eber felt unsafe twice in england once in sunderland and once around the west ham ground, whilst supporting england i might add. the locals pretty much threw us out of pubs -

makes you proud for a change, brilliant to see Nicholls back to his best. nice to see the aussies get a shock to there egos too! -
having just seen the Olympic stadium on the tele this morning, it looks like a large Torun. would make a great venue especially as its an oval and not a football square. could be good for the sport being in the capital rather than a "backwater" ... as far as london centric Tv i mean. have only been to the east end of london once, and have decided never to return can you "polish a turd?"

dont people complain about everything these days, half the forum complaining that not enough there the other half complaining that too many people causing problems, you just cant win. you have to except some bad beahviour in a 44 000 crowd if you had 44 000 police in a crowd half would be drunk and the other half would be stoned fighting each other! the reality is that a few people standing up (god forbid) and how dare they WAVE FLAGS shocking! a punch up on a Saturday night.... only 1 in 44 000 i call that good. take a walk down your local town center sometime you might realise how well the crowd is controlled! -
