i hope they repeat it at 15:00 listening to cov & warwick now, jesus its awful! the triuth will come out soon then, if ther are any changes then it wiull be somewhat obvious who is in the wrong, but no doubt it will be still classed as bullying, if there are no rule changes then indeed some deep questions will need to be asked about the present regime. you see we are not that gulible, we had no choice but to support, who can afford to buy coventry and the land? i suspect it will either be shamek on a 4 with a 41 point limit or no changes, we can then all see who has buckled

i dont know anyone blaming kings lynn youve very sure of the opinions of all speedway fans, think you will find: 1. its 50/50 anyway 2. i dont care, we could be despised all we want but we dont care what other teams think why should we? 3. again bully boys who are you reffering to there as no one has a clue who is right and who is wrong

that will be the teller wont it, no rule changes then coventry have been acting foolishly and questions should be asked around what was the end game. some rules changed then obviously BSPA been caught out! as you say lets wait and see and then we can all draw our own conclusions and set off 100 pages of either, it was a disgrace coventry behaved, or coventry the bully! no one will blame the bspa it will and always will be coventrys fault, apprebtly the sinking of the titanic was to do with us as well

hmm it could be a way out, both sides have to be seen to win, EVEN IF coventry have a good case, it will do no one any good for the BSPA to be humiliated. i assume we have a good case because both pratt & rossiter have been around a long while. Colin Pratt i would suspect know if things were right and wrong

I wonder which of the three alleged rule changes that Coventry don't like will be reverted? Clearly the team building average is just tough, but we wil either getbshamek on a four or a return to fifty fifty from pl. As some duff el riders have already been signed into the pl, I suspect shamek in on a four and maybe a team building level to 41 as a compromise Clearly at least one ofbthe three will change

Well we know 8 Clubs didn't agree with it. And just becsue you agree with something doesn't make it right! The easiest way to have stopped all the nonsense was to make assessed riders at six points, no one could have complained, but they didn't why? Look forward to you lot whinging wen the rules are changed and they effect your team I assume you will be happy then. This mess is not os coventrys making, if they just stopped pissing around with the rules every year, we would all now where we stand. We expect the rules to change every year, pretty much someone is demanding something or they will walk away. Look at Eastbourne, every year they want the average lower and lower, every year it seems Coventry have to pay for a rider rather than lone them, effectively Coventry have been subsidising Eastbourne Why do Eastbourne always get the rule changes they want and demand? They are always threatening to close down. Poole last year threatened to go NL I'd they didn't get what they wanted. It's just the same old winter arguments, but this time they have bitten off to much.

man utd are £700 million in debt, your turnover does not cover the outgoings, so if the banks wanted there money back today there would be no more man utd! the brand keeps them going, but in real terms they are no better off than torquay!

which sport does make money? certainly no football teams, they are all massivley in debt. the issue i suppose with all sport someone has to dig into there own pockets, sad but true.

i think thats the problem, how do you value a clubs assets? i understand you rent the stadium, like the bees now, so the club itself is just a name and a list of assets. pretty much the only assets you have are the riders registrations and the operating license. your assets well gollob wont count for anything because he wont ride hear? when you take that view and the fact that the club lost £70 000, whats a good value for the club? the club is making a loss so it doesn't have a value at all, sure this is the case for most clubs, bit to buy a club you need a penny and a big bank account

Blunsdon Abbey Stadium - Sbc Planning Meeting
philfromcov replied to SwineTown's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
having just read the document, they want to extend the period of "doing nothing" from 3 to 5 years, so nothings going to happen. # plus the costs the council now want has almost doubled what the devloper wants to pay. i would suggest that nothing much will happen until 2015 at the earliest
