  1. Thought it was odd last year. Waited till two weeks to go and got 9 tickets for £180. Front row of top tier over the pits. Great but did smell of desperation
  2. Been a long time posting on the forum but noticed that the seating plan on ticketmaster shows the start gate on the other side of the stadium. Also got tickets for £20 bargain suspect like mentioned above we will be moved
  3. hi guys sorry not been on forum for a long time, i cant get tickets for cardiff, see tickets only have "hospitality" available? any ideas?
  4. how about we all turn up BUT do not enter the stadium? no way am i giving him any money. Even if 2000 turn up week on week he will say that it doesnt pay and walk off
  5. i wouldn't give mick Horton an old style pound coin let alone any money at the gate. Its all about credibility, he had little and has none now. we are not stupid we know what he is up to. We are saying it does not make sense to run this season, it will not work. But we all know he wants to run for a few meetings and then say no demand and work off with a golden handshake. Ill restrict my speedway to cardiff
  6. no one knows why sandhu selected Horton. out of all the franchises id suggest there would have been a big queue apart from poole it would have been the best option for any promoter. i dont think he did a bad job until the last couple of seasons. but after this winter we need a fresh start. who would ride for him? certainly the fans dont trust him.
  7. its pointless with Horton in charge, no one trust a word he says with a new promoter then yes i can see the sense for Nl for a few years but Horton has to go!
  8. exactly where we new we would be since 2004! the miss management of the timescales has caused this issue unless you have several million pounds of your own, then what do you suggest? even if we could crowd fund and pay for the land, the reality is that the stadium would still have to come down and replaced by something cheaper, the cost in keeping a 80 year old stadium up to current safety standards would be huge and would sink any speedway only venue.
  9. not defending either of them, but with the vitriol flying around who on earth would? no one knows what really happened, but the only thing i know is that we need the stox to keep going. If that means whoever runs the bees has to deal with them so be it. Without the STOX management we are dead in the water! we may be at that point already but why try and p**s off the only hope the club has?
  10. Actually he wasn't accepted. we had to have that old white haired bloke (cant remember his name!) as a go between. only one thing is certain with speedway and that is chaos. The idea that it was all good for 80 years is something Donald Trump would brief about,
  11. what an eye opener the radio show was. everyone knew in October this was going to happen, BSPA admit they should have pulled the plug then. documentary evidence that all parties new that if no deal signed then assets would be removed, quite clearly the presenters and those in the know clearly think this is hortons mess and were very defensive of sandhu. Also stated that the bank sold the stadium and not sandhu, quite clearly alot of people who new about what was going on were very angry how this was being handled and are relieved the plug has been pulled what an eye opener the radio show was. everyone knew in October this was going to happen, BSPA admit they should have pulled the plug then. documentary evidence that all parties new that if no deal signed then assets would be removed, quite clearly the presenters and those in the know clearly think this is hortons mess and were very defensive of sandhu. 12. this wasn't a shock. i had already decided not to go to Leicester. only thing certain in speedway is that what ever your told, you know its all BS after 40 years im really sick to death of the lies depict and dodgy people involved in the sport. Pretty much its Cardiff for me and that it, not giving any more of my money to speedway in the UK
  13. the fact that the value of the land (lets ignore the stadium its worth zero) means the covenant on the land is very strong and cannot be broken, at least like Cradley for five years. Only hope is a stox/speedway getting the funds. lets assume 4000 stox fans (never been) 2000 bees fans, thats just £500 each (assuming £3m), so it could be done. Reality is that even if the above could be achieved a move from brandon would still be required, the cost of running such an old stadium must now be huge. however a supports group could break the covenant on the land and then release the vast true value of the site.
