I think the five nominations will go to: Andersen - won a GP, good value for money and he puts bums on seats Nicholls - Got to have a Brit Richardson - See above Sullivan - One below average season can't be compared to three or four good seasons when he genuinely challenged for the world title Holta - Speedway in Norway is on the up and with the GP in Hamar it is vital to include him

Sullivan Crump Gollob Hancock To all those saying Zagar will finish in the top four, you are, I am afraid, living in la-la land.

TAXI.

I'm sure you'll be truly missed - Not. You're probably a Mildenhall supporter or something anyways and would never have the opportunity to see him. Get over it, put another record on. Not a Mildo fan but do race the F2's there. Bit of a tight track though. Bangers are better round there though! I should stick to picking Strawberries mate, instead of all this Speedway mullarkey.

I won't slate Havvy he has been great for the sport, he was brilliant in the SWC, better than Nicholls in fact, but the petulent snide comments on Saturday night weren't required, he above everyone else should know that the final was over 25 heats and not one. Let it go Havvy for goodness sake. He's been brilliant for Panthers this season, the difference between us not being wooden spoon certs, but friggin heck Havvy sort that barnet out.
-
He's right you know.
-
You mean he would do as well as he did in the recent GP Qualifier. What is it with people and Craig Watson, sure he's great in the Premier, but anything higher than that and I'm afraid he is way out of his depth. Know your limitations.

You're so shallow

I had someone else say this to me but how I see it, Scott would have put his hand up instinctively ................... Why would he when the only rider who could have possibly fallen off without his knowledge was the guy behind. Was he lying? Was there really a red light or did he think he had completed four laps. Who knows? The point I am trying to make is that what Andersen said when being interviewed he said because that's what he thought. He's hardly likely to say he never saw PK when he would know that TV replays would prove otherwise. He probably thought PK was Gollob they were wearing similar racesuits. People are to quick to judge others than our own and some people on this friggin forum are like dogs with bones. Take some time out with these incidents and try to think it through logically and remember riders have split seconds to make a judgement.
-
Scott Nicholls: "I saw a red light, there were two riders in front of me, I thought Nicki had come off" Scott held his hand out to warn the rider behind, which was Nicki. Can he not count or was he lying as well? Riders have split seconds to assess a situation, who knows what they see or think they see.

I agree 21CH, but then again it wasn't Pedersen or Andersen was it. I guess all the Crump fans who slated off the aforementioned are keeping very quiet on this one. It just highlights how hypocritical a lot people are, who come on to this forum.

I am the webmaster for the official Ove Fundin web site and and if you check it out that is what he says that in his opinion and his alone that your 'story teller' Andersen is cheat. http://freespace.virgin.net/ove.fundin/news.htm There is your proof Garf, we in generally do not tell lies and 'cheat' in this country could be that you have so much of it in your home land you think that everyone is the same perhaps and you have a natural instinct to trust no ones word. Like I said, who gives a toss.
-
albeit from a rider of four or five decades ago. Well done to Hans Andersen, top man. Everone can do that writing and claim it is some former top-rider. Where is the proof ? Who really gives a toss eh?
-
I can't believe we are not up to page 30 by now. You lot are slipping, if it had been Andersen or Pedersen giving a kick, this forum would be in meltdown.

Apparently they have real big problems with the track in Ullevi again. Practice was cancelled as the track was not rideable, Peter Karlson crashed while trying to get a skid on and Linback couldn't turn his bike. They are scraping the top surface off tonight and relaying it. There has been no rain today but there was overnight. Practice is scheduled for 11:00am. There are lots of worried people in Gothenburg tonight.

Gothenburg practise

Tad wet, is it? -
Someone mentioned it to me over the weekend, but I never thought anything of it, but thinking about it, it could well be possible I suppose.
-
Whose lost their sponsor then? Far as I can tell I no one has at the moment and certainly not a British rider. SCB did something in the heat of the moment and it may or not have been wrong but Ill put money on the fact that Hans hasnt lost a sponsor due to that - he might have lost one due to his no shows last week but I havent seen anywhere he has lost any sponsors? Maybe, just maybe, one of his sponsors was so fed up with pathetic bad losing Brits emailing them that they thought something along the lines of I don't need this I'll withdraw my sponsorship of British riders altogether and concentrate on riders from country's whose supporters aren't so pathetic and are grateful for my support.
-
Which is what I think I said about 20 odd pages ago. Posting his sponsors addresses was irresponsible and crossed a boundary.

I bet you said that before the last meeting, didn't you? Only needs 4 good starts, or even 3 good starts and a bit of luck. In his semi he beat, Ulamek, Karlsson, Balinski, Bjerre, Norris, Klingberg, Danno, Howe, Ferjan, Koldziej and Lukas Dryml. Only extra riders he needs to beat that he has not alreayd beat in the qualifiers yet are, Lindback, Iversen, Brhel, Jagus, Andersen and Povazhny. Sorry to burst your bubble, but he ain't got any chance, he'll do well to get half a dozen points. -

Wato scored 13 in the quater final and top scored in the semi! I just hope their are some new names in the GPs next year, any two from PUK, Wato and Floppy would be brilliant! He's got no chance, he'll be totally outclassed in the company of that field. -

I really hope Norris doesn't qualify for the GP. 1 years effort following 15 years of of not being bothered doesn't merit an inclusion in such a prestigious event as the GP. If I was picking the top two I'd have to go Karlson and Andersen, I'm a great believer in sods law!
