that brings a tear to my eye - yes he was fantastic around Arena! -
Star today carries a 2 page spread interview with Alex Brady - reckons he has spent a 6 figure sum on KL in 2 seasons - to all those fans who blather on about just go out and buy this or get us that rider - 6 figure sum in 2 years to be near the bottom of the league!!

Read the Star today - interview with Alex Brady - but also KL suggesting they brought in Hoggard as TM so Buster can focus more on Peterborough! Don't shoot the messenger! -

Well maybe they might turn in a decent showing at Leciester in the league! Either that or RW sign for the Lions! -

well done to Peterboro yes 2nd place is a very good result for them, and also to BV (winning maybe not a surprise) they put out a strong pairing! -

absolutely we may all think its bo llax - i'd be interested in what everybody thinks should be done? Are you (not you literally) going to accuse a medical professional of faking a certificate and all that entails! -
Wolves vs Kings Lynn

You can yes, I haven't seen any of the races apart from about 1-2 that were shown on TV during the Panthers BV meeting, however the repetitive nature of the the results will negate the fact for me one or two home riders came from the back to win races each time. At. least they picked the right match for the TV coverage last night. -

Nick Morris aside that was pretty bad wasn't it! No-one likes to see those kind of results, even Wolves fans as it would have been pretty dull I reckon. -
Well for what its worth I feel Peterborough gaveit a good go tried to win and were just beaten by a stronger side, some decent races - critical 5-1's again the Panthers in heats 1 & 8 and that is pretty much where they lost it. Tarasenko does look good on the big tracks as well! Belle Vue have won 5 away matches this season so no disgrace in this! The Kings Lynn result is another matter however!

on that note he clipped the fence board on the third bend when on a routine 5-1 at Owlerton on Thursday - id say it was an unforced error as well! -

I am thinking Ivan Mauger at Exeter stuff there!! -
he will definitely come good, just needs confidence and consistency!
-
they way he has been riding this suggests he is still in it!

There comes a point where you either run it at a profit, or at least breakeven or not at all, no one unless they are a multi millionaire etc is going to continually write off losses year after year - I remember many a promoter rolling up in a blaze of glory saying how they were/ are going to turn their club into a powerhouse and win the league - they all fade away into obscurity before too long. I can also imagine you have a 'life expectancy' in running something like speedway - to be fair to Buster he has been in the game quite a while now. This is a key line - yes we do but also we have to sometimes accept that maybe we can't - my football team is a small town one (well city now) and they are never going to get into the premier league so I have to make do with lower league and right now Conference league stuff. I don't particularly like it but as a realist i understand thats where we are at the moment. We had some good times in the Championship but it has pretty much bankrupted us - look at Portsmouth - their 'winning' team almost saw them go out of business and the football league. I think part of the issue is us fans sometimes have no sense of realism in their expectations sometimes and then the moment the side loses a game / match or two people are demanding changes often for changes sake! If a manager in football loses the first 3-4 games in a season they are often out the door before the end of October. And of course as fans we have a lot of "I Told you so" experts out there!
