  1. Got back yesterday evening after an amazing weekend. Huge thanks to Ballinger for making all the arrangements and acting as tour guide par exellence!!! Thanks to Papa, Jo and John for thier experience and help with everything from buying beer to arranging the most fantastic position in the stadium amonst the Bydgoscz massif. What a day and witnessing Tomek winning his home GP was awesome Seasoned travellers tell me that the racing was not as good as usual as the track had been Olsened but it was still a great meeting from mine and The It Man's point of view. The Poles were wonderful and so enthusiastic. Met some great people and made some new friends, Dawn and Nikki the only thing missing was Janey I'm sure the new arrival will make up for it when he arrives. Hi to the other forum members we were introduced to in the Brda on Friday. The Sunday meeting at Torun was tremendous and I can only echo Papa's sentiments, watching the play off meetings last night was likwe watching paint dry and UK speedway could learn so much from the way the Poles, prepare tracks for racing and organise events. We will be back next year for sure.
  2. I think it's Crumpies year.....was unfortunate not to win it last year
  3. This one made me laugh out loud (my Dad was Belgian and we always had a good laugh at it's a knockout!)....Thank you for the link
  4. Change is not always bad, infact it's often good. Look at the impact of the 20/20 cup in Cricket - the purists hated it but it's done the sport the world of good. I am reserving judgement till I know what the rule changes mean rather than reacting to the headline news.
  5. This maybe a positive change or not depending on how it is implemented and what the rule actually means. I am going to reserve my judgement until I know what the new rules actually are rather than responding on the basis of headlines. The devil will be in the detail.
  6. I have not got over Saturday(or one or a few other noteable occasions during the season usually involving Poole) either Steve, mind you we did get £275 for his gloves, hat and goggles on Sunday to add to the Carlos fund so he has his uses. Nice talking to you on Saturday
  7. You know I think the "for sure" bit is Nikki practicing to be world champion, for sure.
