  1. Douglas final avg was 6.73 but he did get top 4 in qsld state title so going by worky pr "should? Be ok. If it's either.
  2. Have just heard the Legend Lew has passed on, sad news indeed but what a life story.
  3. almost seem's like , because somerset couldnt have him you dont want anyone else (especially plymouth) to have him. anyway back to poole, IF holder gets his visa and darkside doesnt get banned and gets a visa, poole are looking at a 3 pointer, we know ford doesnt like having brits in the team so maybe a former el rider who only gained a three and looking back im wondering if he would give linus eklof another try, seemed keen on him a couple of years back.
  4. i think you will find Fisher is also in need of a visa
  5. I think you will Darcy rode when commonwealth riders were allowed in the CL rules then changed to 2 years max and then changed to the current of partiality only. Foreverblue. Josh g is allowed to double as has, I believe a polish passport due to family history.
  6. and for the pl to bring in a draft system for said nl riders the chance to progress as opposed to many teams having journeymen 3-5 point foreigners year in year out
  7. you mean mondays because thats when wolves race, lets face it mondays is one of the worse nights for riders doing the leagues, poland sunday then england monday back out to sweden for tuesday, its easier to go straight to sweden from poland, imo weds and thurs would be bestfrom sweden to hear race 2 nights back out to wherever for gp's internationals etc then poland sundays, after all, kings lynn, leicester, poole, belle vue, coventry (i believe) swindon have and could race these nights, lakeside possibly not sure on stocks, just leaves wolves who never seem to move for any reason.
  8. taken from speedway gb a-z CHAPMAN, Samuel (Sam) DATE OF BIRTH: 16 February 1989, Truro, Cornwall. BRITISH CAREER: (2014) Scunthorpe II; (2015) Birmingham. does this create an issue or not with his nl place, any body know for certain.
  9. I would love it if all four riders at the first meetings got to the start and all got off their bikes to garden. Could be interesting as if all are excluded its going to pee everyone off and show how ridiculous a rule it is. Like has been said it's how long some riders take not how they go about it.
  10. claus has not really replaced laguta, czestochowa lost their licence and are having to rebuild from the bottom division, and i do not mean that against claus
  11. Another howler for sissis in aussie u21 qualifier. Money would been better spent pn a British youngster.
  12. I would imagine a short rider may find it more difficult to do it on bike, the problem with the grading can put loose material onto the groove a rider would want to know what he is starting on a filled in groove may be too deep for example. As for the British final, imo the person/s at fault were the referee and meeting coordinator as they allowed the time for it to happen, they could and should of put the 2mw on that would of stopped the farce it became. As for false starts I believe too many races are called back unnecessarily, how many times have we all said why was that called back and I dont mean on tv I mean with the naked eye at a meeting. Most people around a track can aee a clear roller from a rider, the ref has the best view of all, if it's not a clear roller and the tapes dont get touched let it go, I hate this wording " anticipating the start" surely thats part of the sport as in any type of race a racer has to anticipate the start to gain maximum advantage over his/her rivals.
  13. Dont get your reasoning TNT. Howarth is improving all the time was clearly one of the stand out riders in last season's playoffs and I would rather have him especially as a progressive young Englishman than jk or mads who are on the decline. Imo
  14. Tbh and imo, apart from doyle and c holder. The rest are only pl riders at best.
  15. Agree there, ford letting the rest off there. Imo top five looking weak so far.
  16. Surely the order of pick is down to the teams ranking
  17. I dont understand the need for ranking at this point. As I see teams with assets will name and protect them to start with in either category and then as I see leics commence with cat 1 pick from who has not been protected. And then the cat 2 draft will start again rankng has no relevance. And same goes for guests it has been said that any cat 1 rider can guest for any other cat 1 unlike last seasonwhen it was anyone above
  18. Lakeside could do well by protecting ellis in rd 2. Unless he gets moved up if any c1 riders opt out
  19. I remember newman having an injury early season
  20. What would happen in respect of order of pick if say poole or kingss lynn do not opt to protect either newman or kerr.
  21. Pl team prob be first especially if clashing with a riders el team
  22. What happens if 3 or more from cat 1 decline the draft
  23. Cant this government body that was set up for speedway via bspa and some mp's help out by explaing how this works to border agency Cant this government body that was set up for speedway via bspa and some mp's help out by explaing how this works to border agency
  24. I thought kings lynn were announced first at the draft and somehow named two riders
  25. Cant see why newman has not been signed up by poole already. Or for that matter any of the top draft riders as it seems that they are either at reserve again or teams will have to use them in the 1-5. So unless they are not wanted there is no need too wait for the agm.
