  1. Great News for Both Clubs, Thank You to Tony Mole, Nigel Pearson, Gary Patchett & anyone else involved in saving 2 Midlands Clubs from disappearing again, I know both sets of fans would have preferred PL racing but that may come in time if this works out, Also Cradley fans I know Perry Barr is not where you wanted to be, but the racing strip is a good one and at least your team can continue racing, hopefully one day you may get your own venue but for now give it your support as I am sure you will, The same goes for Brummies fans get down to Perry Barr next season.
  2. If the Speedway on offer next season is Cradley then I will attend some meetings, I am a Brummies supporter and I want to see them race but should they not be in a league then I would go to Perry Barr to watch some Speedway anyway. I sincerely hope that one day we both race in the PL.
  3. The one even more sadder thing to come out of this is some folk blaming Tony Mole for Birmingham Speedway not returning in 2015! I hope these people understand that the only very faint hope of the Brummies ever returning solely rests with TM at this time, So think about what you say!! As for Cradley using Perry Barr in 2015, I think it would be a good idea to keep Speedway going in Perry Barr keep the track/facilities prepared each week rather than becoming run down and forgotten totally. I understand supporters being upset but point the finger in the right direction not at the man who brought Speedway back to Brum after 20 odd years in the wilderness.
  4. There is rivalry between teams but we are not talking football here, the news is very sad about the Brummies and I do fear it is the end for us but you live in hope I guess. If Cradley can use Perry Barr then good luck to them why not,
  5. Not quite sure what will happen regarding this season , but I hope that the Brummies return next season as a Premier League Club.
  6. I have spent many years as a fan watching the Brummies along with Cradley,Wolves & Coventry as a neutral, it is a very sad day I just hope something can save the club but it has to be doubtful. Best wishes to the Riders wherever they go and to fellow supporters keep it Red n Yellow
  7. If as expected The Brummies fold again it will be the last time you will see this sport in Birmingham IMHO, It is very sad to see Clubs folding and not a good sign for Speedway in the UK. As for the blame, well the people responsible know who they are I just hope they are proud of themselves going down in history, some folk have no scruples do they!
  8. That is true Judy but paying the Guy on time and not upsetting him might have helped as he was our best rider last season after all! And upsetting and losing Phil Morris to top it all!!
  9. I think this is a Great signing by the Brummies, Well done Mr Phillips, A step in the right direction for a change
  10. Yes If That is ok with you The League position would state otherwise but hopefully they can build on last nights performance with maybe another team change
  11. The Brummies badly needed that win, Well done to the team and Barker showed what he is capable of in Heat 15 in particular,
  12. He should have dropped down to the PL this Winter, If he could not fund a team that is competitive in the Elite League which he is now admitting! Also driving away Phil Morris has really angered many supporters. We have lost some Top people over the recent years ; Morris, Gary Patchett, Mick Bratley to name but a few.
