  1. Steady and Bellego will be impossible to replace around Shielfield, but hopefully Jason and Josh can do their best and the other Tigers can continue their brilliant form!!!
  2. just had another look and I was looking at a previous set, it is 6.75. So not sure how he's fitted in ???
  3. They do, we only built the team up to 41.89, so that's 0.61 left + David's average which is 6.06 so 6.67 to play with and Jason's average is 6.19.
  4. Confirmed on Tigers Twitter that David is out for 6 weeks with a hip injury Best wishes to David.
  5. We trust our promotion to do the right thing, whatever decision that might be !!!
  6. I have never felt so low leaving a speedway meeting ever, it was awful and the way we were being sheparded out of the stadium straight after the meeting made it worse, as we didn't have any idea what was happening.
  7. Me too, still am to be honest... Longest trip home for along time.
  8. Yes, David was at the back and I think his view was obscured by the riders in front of him.
  9. Newcastle didn't ride too bad at all last night, it was arguably Worrall and Lindgren's best performances at Owlerton.
  10. Sheffield track is back at its best, superb racing again tonight, a whole bunch of great races but the stand out was Bellego's last to 2nd in both heats 13 and 15. Another good performance by the team and would have scored more but for a few mechanical gremlins. Well done to Andre on a superb maximum, he's riding as well as ever and another easy max for Super Steady. Good times at Owlerton
  11. This group could end up going down to points difference for and against, so both teams will be looking to win at home as big as possible.
  12. Well Sheffield haven't won at Armadump since September 2001, so Berwick aren't on their own with bad records at Edinburgh !!!
  13. If Tigers ride like they have been, this should be a comfortable home win.
  14. I never expect too much from the Tigers when we go to Newcastle, we just don't usually ride the tight circuits well. I'll be happy if we don't disgrace ourselves and have 7 fit riders at the end of the meeting and getting within 6 points would be a bonus. The Redcar away meeting is the key one for us.
  15. Auty was brilliant on Monday and he had to be to beat the Tigers riders, if he rides like that all season, there won't be too many beating him at the EWR.
  16. Seem to remember we Sheffield fans saying that about Covatti last season.
  17. Looked a decent crowd for Scunny, but a usual very large travelling support from Sheffield helped that.
  18. The whole team are key riders for me, there are a few riders capable of upping their averages. The Steady/Andre pairing does look an awesome one though particulary at Owlerton. The last time they were a pairing for Sheffield was in 1999 when we did the treble.
  19. If Steady rides all year like he is at the moment, there will be very few riders beat him at Owlerton, although Lasse Bjerre gave it one hell of an effort in Heat 13 on Thursday, early contender for race of the season.Arthur may take a bit of time but he improved massively from the Scunny meeting to the Redcar meeting and I can only see him getting better with the more laps he gets.
  20. Really pleased with how the Tigers started last week and for me plenty more to come, particularly at Owlerton. Redcar are not to be completely underestimated as Lasse, Skidders and Kus are usually pretty good at Owlerton. Any word on whether Robbo is riding yet?
