  1. Claus Vissing taking a look over his shoulder, slowing down allowing Paul Cooper to come along side him then fencing him in the back straight/3rd bend fence at Owlerton is the dirtiest riding I've seen, it caused a huge brawl near the pits afterwards.
  2. It was a decent meeting but not the usual very high standard of racing we've seen at the showground in the past. The inside line stayed too good through most of the meeting and the riders were chasing that and the only passing in the early stages was through mistakes, but the racing got better towards the end.
  3. He had a few laps, looked ok but always hard to judge when riders are out on track on their own.
  4. Kozza was in the first bend bunching incident in heat 10 when he was coming from gate 2 and didn't turn at the first corner and took Brady and Spud on the outside of him into the fence. Was lucky to be in the rerun.
  5. Steady scored 17 from 5 rides in his last visit in the Premier League at Newcastle last season, will be well happy if Josh scores more
  6. That's always been the rule. I would assume that Peterborough will be doing the same with Olly Allen unless someone that can do a job becomes available.
  7. I wouldn't judge too much from what happened tonight. Sheffield riders have never ridden Armadale well and that didn't change tonight so no way to judge his performance.
  8. It was anything but handbags, Masters knocked Bjerre off after the race then went over to him and started pounding on him, while Bjerre was laid out on the track. Disgraceful behaviour by Masters
  9. No wonder Masters was grinning like a Cheshire Cat on the parade after the meeting, at any other club and any other track he would have been kicked out of the meeting and be facing a potential long ban for what he did to Lasse Bjerre tonight at the conclusion of heat 1 and it seems he got off with a fine. There is precedent here with the Richard Hall/ Josh Auty incident.
  10. Perhaps the next investment for the new owners should be a roof over the track.
  11. Cracking meeting, not quite sure how we got a draw out of that but glad we did. Happy with the result considering we only got 2 points for Ty Proctor at R/R. Think Brady Kurtz may even have given Simon Stead a run for his money on tonight's display...awesome from him.
  12. Sad but true mate, supporters are always the last ones considered when decisions are made in speedway, then promoters moan when there are no crowds.
  13. Not the first time this has happened this year, 25 people from Sheffield had booked to go to Plymouth on the 8th May, at 2 weeks notice it gets changed to the 15th May with no reason given. Its totally unacceptable, between us it's cost us hundreds of pounds in lost hotel bookings. That's one of many reasons why there are no travelling supporters to speedway anymore.
  14. Josh Grajczonek guests for Steady on Tuesday
  15. Another cracking performance from the Tigers, with everyone contributing well and thanks to Josh G for an excellent performance as guest, same again next Tuesday in the 'Battle of the Tigers' would be great. The Redcar track has come in for some criticism this season on these forums but I thought it rode well last night, perhaps the pre meeting rain helped with that but there was plenty of passing and a good race meeting, of course the result made it even better.
  16. Yeah he didn't have a 4 point average for nothing last season, that's how he rode. He rode very well on Monday and like you say good job he did or it would have been a hammering.
  17. A thoroughly enjoyable day out, nice day and a Tigers away win. Must say after Fridays battering at the OTA, I wasn't expecting too much at a track we normally don't go too well at, but the Tigers were superb and very well deserved win. We have been struggling since Steady and David's crash at Rye House and hopefully this will get us back on track. Thanks to Nick Morris for a superb job as guest.
  18. From the smell I think it was a clutch issue for Ash, hopefully he'll get it sorted.Pleased with the win, could have been a banana skin and thanks to Cookie again.
  19. An early decision would be appreciated to save us travelling up as the forecast does not look good.
  20. Thanks to Cookie great job. Jason, Andre and Arthur did ok. Ty, Ashley and Josh seemed under powered and no match for the Somerset riders who thoroughly deserved to win.
