  1. Anyone out there know what "AKTIW" stands for, which adorns Crumpies kevlars? Is it an acronym for something, or is it just a company name? It has been bugging me for a while.
  2. My particular comments were made to those who stated they made their choice because Virgin provided a better service. I merely pointed out that last night was one of those times when they couldn't do that. If technology can't provide others with the necessary equipment to receive Sky, then thats not my fault. I want the best service possible, and for that, you go to the organ grinder, not the monkey. It may be top dollar, but you get what you want.
  3. Its not going to be pretty, but its the same for everyone. If anything, it evens it up a bit.
  4. This is one time when it isn't the better service. Your choice, not my fault. Enjoy the Tennis.
  5. I agree its not an idea situation, but if you are a subscriber to another provider, probably because its cheaper, its hardly fair to bleat about it, is it? As a sky customer, I will enjoy the whole meeting live, but thats what I pay for, isn't it? I'm sure Sky are really bothered about the Virgin customers.
  6. Yawn. Pearson has a day off, and you find petty faults with his replacement. How sad you are. A true reflection on the forum, when the senior members stoop to this level. You should be focusing on why, time after time, we get these meetings with poorly prepared tracks, riders who really have no right being there in the first place, and a format that is desperately in need of a change, so we don't suffer riders " going through the motions", instead of racing hard.
  7. It amazes me the reaction I get to some of my posts. Loads of drivel on the forum, including some really harsh words directed at the Sky team and Tai in particular, but none get the vitriol I am subjected to, over what is only an opinion after all.
  8. I'm really not that interested to be honest. And, once again, why I have to justify my opinion, god only knows. If youre trying to dig me out over it, then I'm sorry to disappoint you. I have been called many things on this forum, but have not really felt it necessary, or had the desire, to meet the person who said it. It doesn't mean anything other than I really am not interested in meeting the likes of the forum members, most of who, are completely in love with themselves and their opinions. End of.
  9. I wouldn't blame him, if he does have until he's 21, to decide to ride for the Aussies. The likes of the person who started this bullcrap in the first place, are the ones who will ultimately drive him to do it. It does seem he is open to criticism for almost everything he does, or doesnt, do. I'm sure those who do it, will be very happy if he decides to chose the Aussies over GB. It will be something else to slate him for. Mugs.
  10. Why so touchy? I appreciate it must be strange having someone criticise you rather than sucking up, but thats my opinion. Why I have to justify it to you, I don't know. I would expect everyone who did the same to me, to justify that too, and thats not going to happen, so get over yourself. If youre bothered by what I think, then maybe it is indeed time to move on.
  11. You assume too quickly mate. IMO, only a homosexual could not find her attractive. And don't knock it until youve tried it, thats my motto. Assume what you like from that.
  12. Why is that then? When he has covered at Rye, he hasn't been very good. Mate of yours, is he?
  13. Georgie will do, but please, not Bryn. He's typical of whats wrong with the image of the sport.
  14. Why not try leaving it up to the track announcers? Then you'll all see just how good the regular presenters are. Oh, and anyone who moans about Charlie, must be a fag.
  15. Admittedly, it was strange seeing him in the pits for Oz on Sunday, but what's he supposed to do? He grew up there, and has known most of the aussies all his life. Is he now supposed to ignore them because he declares himself a Brit? Maybe he was in Poland for a league meeting, so why not go along to support his mates? Some of you need to get a grip. probably the same people who whinge and moan about Pearson et al.
  16. i don't see a weekend in Wembley being as good as Cardiff, so its the Millenium for me. It gives me an excuse once a year to " go for it ", without my Wife ever knowing what I've done.
  17. Tickets now booked aswell. I just hope the hotel honour the price I paid for 2010! Worth having a look, as it has only just been refurbished, and the room was immaculate. Only a short taxi ride from the stadium, £12 there, and £8 back???? The bar was a bit dear, but if you take your own, its cheaper.
  18. Just pre empted the dates for 2010, and I hope the rumours are true that it is 10th july, and got the same hotel as this year, 2 nights, for £148, which is a saving of £77 from this year. I'm so happy. Now for the same seating for the meeting, and I'm sorted too.
  19. Thats their opinion. Whats yours, and how did you see it, and why do you think Hans was innocent?
  20. Stop dodging the question. I'll apologise if only to hear your explanation of events. That is, if you have anything that makes sense.
  21. I didn't say your were English, so wind your neck in. Watch the race again, and notice Andersen get out of shape. Due to this, he gets across Harris' line, giving him nowhere to go. Why is that Bombers fault? harris is racing, Hans causes the problem. He should go. Interested to hear your unbiased version of events.
  22. You really don't know what you're talking about. I suggest your anti english attitude is clouding your judgement.
