  1. Maybe tongue in cheek but not sure the announcer should be trying to influence the referees decision.
  2. Brilliant meeting and fantastic effort by the Panthers. Was not impressed to find out Fisher was missing when I arrived and feared the worst but rider replacement worked out well in the end. Maybe could of snuck it if we would have looked out for team mates. Good to see Ales ride well but the reserves are a worry now.
  3. Looking at the weather forecast this match going ahead looks doubtful
  4. This starting gate failure must surely be BSI's fault.
  5. Unfortunately it looks like it's only highlights next week in the UK as Eurosport are showing live French open tennis.
  6. try reading until you get to the full stop and then start reading a NEW sentence . aas saturdays are workys fixtures at home. yours will be ???? And this is the edited version? Then why the need to tell us the 4 points were achieved away?
  7. Good job you were away, you would have struggled to get the 4 points required at home. All clubs reserved fixtures should be Saturdays?
  8. Without knowing what the health and safety issue is/was, how do supporters know it is safe to return next time? Let's hope not too many err on the side of caution and stay away.
  9. Edinburgh are rightfully baffled by the call off http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=1647
  10. On the plus side I do now know all the riders dates of birth.
  11. And the health and safety issue is (drum roll).....................
  12. The showground tweeted it was off at 9.55am - before the Panthers tweeted about it still being on at 10am. Something odd about this call off. Let's hope people don't get too used to watching Swedish league on a Tuesday eh?
  13. Why? I know missing Ulrich and Lasse is a blow but they are missing Newman and Rasmus. Lasse is number 2 in averages now so all can take a ride. Race on another Friday and we would be missing the Fish no doubt.
  14. Agreed. Far too accommodating to Rye House, particularly as we read all about how we aren't making the same mistake as last year and going in cold.
  15. SKY OFFER EXTENDED DUE to high demand, Sky Tickets are extending their £5 tickets offer for tonight's meeting until 2pm today. To purchase advance tickets from Sky, please visit the following link: http://tickets.sky.com/ A reminder that £5 admission is also available on production of the voucher printed in the current issue of the Peterborough Telegraph. Please take advantage of the offers and pack the Showground tonight! http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2102.2
  16. Weather forecast has indeed improved and there is no rain forecast at all tomorrow. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/peterborough-peterborough#?tab=fiveDay Hopefully that will encourage a few more to come along tomorrow and take advantage of the fantastic £5 ticket offer.
  17. Get used to it, the fish has got a lot more matches to miss. Crap guests have cost us wins at Somerset and Glasgow already. 2 points is hardly a drubbing.
  18. Presumably they are not surprised or disappointed then as most of these factors were known beforehand yet they still decided to award a gp and the WC there. If you believe that those are the reasons why then the WC will equally be badly attended as those factors will remain.
  19. Travel plus tours have had it down for the 19th all along.
  20. http://peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2093.2 http://m.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/what-s-on/leisure-lifestyle/enjoy-a-night-at-speedway-for-5-1-6020415 PETERBOROUGH Panthers have joined forces with the Peterborough Telegraph to create a stunning sporting offer. Panthers are offering entry to their first Premier League home clash of the season - against Newcastle on Tuesday (April 29) - for only a fiver. Thats just a third of the regular £15 adult admission price! Supporters simply need to pick up a copy of the latest issue of the PT, which is out today (Thursday), and present the Panthers voucher at the East of England Showground turnstiles ahead of the date against the Diamonds to qualify for the huge discount. Panthers supremo Mick Horton is hoping the people of Peterborough will turn out in force for a meeting that will be beamed live to the nation by Sky Sports. He said: Were delighted to have teamed up with the PT for what is an unbelievable deal. With children under the age of 12 always admitted to our home meetings for free, we are basically giving a family of four a night out for a tenner. That is brilliant value and I just hope the public take advantage of the offer. I want to see the Showground packed to the rafters on Tuesday. This season marks the start of a new era for the club in the Premier League and the riders have been in great form. We have stormed to the top of our Premier League Cup group and now we want to start the league season in style." Panthers begin their league campaign with two away meetings in as many days over the weekend. They travel to a highly-rated Workington side on Saturday before continuing north to Glasgow on Sunday. Number one Ryan Fisher has been ruled out of both meetings with a back injury. Former Peterborough favourite Richard Lawson, who now rides for Redcar at this level and Lakeside Hammers in the Elite League, had stepped in to fill the void. Tickets for the home clash against Newcastle can also be bought in advance for £5 through http://tickets.sky.com/Motorsport/ Regular admission prices will be in place on the night for anyone not in possession of either the PT voucher or advance tickets.
  21. No Lasse or Ulrich for Panthers at Plymouth on 2nd May - Danish championship. Rasmus Jensen missing for Plymouth too.
  22. So no Lasse or Ulrich for Panthers at Plymouth the same night.
