  1. The Polish authorities would never prevent a rider from riding in another country just because it may not suit them and thus prevent them from earning money. Oh hang on a minute......
  2. I'm glad recent experiences with the club have not put Ales off joining again. Happy with the 7 put together and should be formidable at home and in with a decent shout of the fours!
  3. I may be wrong but thought that Frost notified their intention to quit on the Friday before the AGM started.
  4. Exactly, as I said it's an invitational so don't understand why BSPA have to bow to the demands of one sport. It's a non FIM event which will no doubt impact on the British clubs whose riders are taking part.
  5. Last year one participating country forget to send enough riders and so the worldwide audience of millions were left scratching their heads as to why one country was being represented by riders of different nationalities. Not that anyone knew until about heat 7 when Eurosport decided to start live transmission.
  6. Sorry got it mixed up with this rumour, which is very similar http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=75264&page=3&do=findComment&comment=2383222
  7. Why? As much as I would like to see a British pair, it is a non FIM event and so it's just an invitational set up by a promoter. If Gollob and Hampel are invited to Elite Riders in March are they likely to accept? Will the promoter then blast the Polish authorities for not sending them?
  8. Was this originally planned for Peterborough before they pulled out of EL?
  9. But the same can't be said for our away meetings.
  10. So PLKOC return leg at Scunthorpe arranged for 26th May and yet another match Fisher could miss. Its a 3pm start though so could he get to Brandon in time for the evening?
  11. That is correct. Worrall and Fisher will also miss at least one match.
  12. Ryan Fisher is not riding for Peterborough or Coventry on March 28th?
  13. Is that a definite? My understanding is EL get preference but only if they are assets?
  14. Peterborough could be at full strengh at Foxhall in the afternoon, but missing Fisher only at Peterborough in the evening. Depending on the start time of Belle Vue match Worrall may only miss one match too?
  15. Apparently if the rider is an asset of the EL club, the EL fixture takes priority, otherwise it is the PL fixture that takes priority (unless the PL fixture is a re-arranged fixture). Therefore we could have a full team at Ipswich Good Friday (start 2.15pm). Coventry start 7.30pm so missing Fisher at Peterborough in the evening. We could have a guest but r/r is more likely I guess. In total Fisher will miss at least 7 matches for Panthers: April 11 Somerset away April 18 Ipswich HOME May 13 Plymouth away May 26 Redcar away May 27 Edinburgh away August 8 Scunthorpe away August 22 Plymouth away
  16. Good Friday against Ipswich was looking interesting, then realised we would be missing 3 of 7
  17. I suppose the football will finish around 6:45pm, so if they push the start time back a bit then it might encourage some to do both.
  18. Not sure how wise it is to plan a home match on 24/6/14, it's going up against what could be a crucial England World Cup game which kicks off at 5pm. Also no mention of Press & Practise day? No return leg for PLKOC listed?
  19. I'm thinking they are delaying so it can be announced at the proposed fans forum.
