Edinburgh, Workington, Redcar and Berwick lined up in Group 2 with the top two finishers in each bracket advancing to the final. A group of 8 of us have gone every single year. The hotel we stayed in this year was £79 a night & will be £299 a night next year. We have a threshold and cannot find a hotel anywhere near so won't be going next year by the looks of it. Shame as it is a fantastic weekend but it has now reached its tipping point.

I feel sorry for any promotion when the Panthers select are in town. We have a number 1 who has been seen less than the tooth fairy and Ales whose sat nav doesn't go any more north then the Watford gap. Still he has managed to get to Cardiff - just seen him and he seems to be making a remarkable recovery if anyone was concerned.
