  1. League being made up of one match. Still they have a nice trophy.
  2. Just had a quick look at fixtures until end of April and looks like a return to the patched up Panthers. Fri 27th March Rye House Home - no Roynon, Simon, Blackbird. Friday 3rd April Ipswich away - no Roynon, Robert, Blackbird Friday 3rd Ipswich home - no Roynon, Simon. Thursday 23rd Redcar away - no Roynon, Robert Friday 24th Somerset away - no Roynon, Blackbird.
  3. I won't be happy if Robert Lambert misses the Peterborough matches on the Friday and Sunday either side of this meeting.
  4. He may only miss two Friday home matches, but he will miss three Friday away matches too.

  6. Of our 11 matches until beginning of May Ellis could do 6, but can't do Ipswich & Rye House at home
  7. BATTLE OF BRITAIN! Saturday March 14, 2015 PETERBOROUGH Readypower Panthers are under orders to start the season as they mean to go on tomorrow (Sunday). The curtain goes up on the new campaign at the East of England Showground with our very own version of the Battle of Britain. A Peterborough team containing six British riders (captain Ulrich Ostergaard from Denmark is the only exception) lines up against a GB Select side put together by national chief Alun Rossiter (2pm start). An exciting and tough afternoon of racing is in store, but Readypower Panthers boss Carl Johnson insists a winning start to 2015 is essential. Johnson said: It has the makings of a terrific meeting to start what will hopefully be an excellent season for the club. Rosco has called on several riders who are capable of going very well at the Showground and it is going to be a tough test for our lads. But we will go into every meeting this year with the intention of winning and tomorrow is no different. There is a tremendous buzz around the place and the atmosphere at Press & Practice Day was brilliant. There is already a great spirit amongst the riders and it was great to see so many supporters turn out. We now need to ensure we do our bit with good performances and results out on the track. Peterborough are at full-strength tomorrow with reserve Simon Lambert lining up at Alwalton rather than riding for his Elite League side Leicester. Teams: Readypower Panthers: Olly Allen, Adam Roynon, Robert Lambert, Lewis Blackbird, Ulrich Ostergaard, Simon Lambert, Ollie Greenwood. GB Select: Ben Barker, Adam Ellis, Lewis Kerr, Kyle Howarth, Richie Worrall, Nathan Greaves, Lewis Rose. http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2391.2&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  8. Full team for Panthers, Leicester have confirmed Simon will be riding for Peterborough on Sunday.
  9. Ben Morley replaces Simon at Leicester. http://leicesterlions.co/east-midlands-bowl-preview/ No Hans Andersen either.
  10. A good day at press and practise today, lads looked great in team kevlars. Interesting that Danny Phillips was announced as an asset and issued with team kevlars too. I assume he will cover for Simon when he is riding for Leicester?
  11. Where did I have a go at Leicester and where did I state they were responsible for the price? £25 is way too much in my opinion and I won't be going regardless of who set the price.
  12. Just to confirm Peterborough definitely starts at 2pm and Kings Lynn 6pm. Peterborough have already said that they will ensure that their meeting will be run to allow fans to attend both meetings, Oliver Allen is riding in both meetings don't forget! http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2383.2 With the weather looking favourable on Sunday hopefully plenty of fans will take in both meetings and there will be great crowds at both.
  13. Peterborough Panthers in riding order Oliver Allen Adam Roynon Robert Lambert Lewis Blackbird Ulrich Ostergaard Simon Lambert Oliver Greenwood Great Britain Select Ben Barker Richie Worrall Kyle Howarth Lewis Kerr Adam Ellis Lewis Rose Nathan Greaves The 2pm start time at the East of England Showground will provide ample time for supporters to travel to King's Lynn to take in Rory Schlein's big testimonial event the same evening http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2383.2 The seven GB race jacets will be signed and auctioned off at the end of the meeting http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2385.2
  14. £29 millennium stadium, Cardiff. £19 national stadium, Warsaw. £25 Leicester. No thanks
  15. Well no Blackbird or Rob Lambert for Panthers so that's two less Panthers fans coming now.
  16. Confirmed Wolves have priority over Blackbird. http://m.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/speedway/blackbird-ready-to-start-flying-again-for-panthers-1-6602949
  17. Eh? Are Panthers making changes then?
  18. What is hard to understand is why wolves would willingly agree to let Blackbird ride for Panthers. Rule states if there is no arrangement made them priority is in the order of EL,PL,NL. It's therefore in Wolves favour to not arrange anything.
