He needs to be careful unloading vans, it's dangerous and someone could get hurt. How come he isn't riding for Kings Lynn tonight then? So that's Peterborough, Kings Lynn and Robert himself say the same thing and we are to believe your story?
-
I see he has inherited his mother's PR skills.
-
when you have Lambert in the team its best to wait until you actually see him on track. Seems he broke a nail pushing his bike back to the van after the meeting.

I don't mind highlights but missing heats out is infuriating. How can they not fit 15 minutes of racing into an hour slot? -

Or swap sports. If Posh have taken up speedway then maybe Panthers should have a go at football. -

Using BSPA logic, Wolbert and Nilsson would be the wild cards. Thankfully no one else uses BSPA logic. That is an awful line up. Would love Ward and Emil but guess it will go to two Poles. Pawel Przedpelski might be one. -
Greenwood signs for Somerset. All a bit odd.

It was his choice to move on.. but he is going to another PL team not NL so not sure what is going to change for him. I certainly would have preferred him to stay over Konopka.

There's some jostling going on in EL with new averages out. We've waited this long, might as well wait a little longer and see who becomes available from EL

Well if he can get them there tonight from Cardiff yesterday, then he can get them there the Sunday after the GP! But them that is an FIM meeting. -
Panthers axe falls on Greenwood Ollie Greenwood is to be released from the Peterborough Panthers speedway team. Peterborough Panthers will release struggling reserve Ollie Greenwood later this week. The 20 year-old has failed to fire in the opening half of the 2015 season and departs by mutual consent to seek a fresh start elsewhere. Greenwood, who won the British Under 19 title last season, will make a farewell appearance for Panthers in their big Sky Sports showdown against Glasgow on Wednesday (June 24). Panthers promoter Ged Rathbone said: We have arrived at a mutual decision that Ollie will be released from the Peterborough line-up. I can assure everyone that we part on very good terms as we all feel this is the right thing to do. We have understandably been concerned about Ollies form for some time and have worked with him in an attempt to find some improvement. Ollie has done his utmost to try to turn his performances around, but it just hasnt happened and he does not want to be in a position where he could cost the team results. We have chosen to make this public knowledge in advance of his last meeting as we want the fans to be able to give him a good send-off. Panthers bosses are closing in on a replacement for Greenwood. The new man is expected to arrive in time to face Plymouth at the East of England Showground on Sunday (June 28).

Free admission for the big TV fixture Peterborough Panthers bosses have called on the local sporting community to help them pack the East of England Showground for the visit of the television cameras later this month. The city clubs crunch showdown against fellow Premier League title hopefuls Glasgow on Wednesday, June 24 will be screened to the nation by Sky Sports. And promoter Ged Rathbone is throwing open the Alwalton doors to junior sports teams from around the city. The children will receive free entry as will one adult per five kids in any party with additional adults getting discounted admission of £10. Rathbone said: We really want to see a big crowd for the visit of the TV cameras and what is likely to be one of our toughest tests of the season. The response to this offer has already been great and we have roughly 350 kids pencilled in to attend. But we still have room to accommodate more teams. Teams interested should contact Rathbone on 07760 162164 or email motivecar@yahoo.co.uk. They can also get in touch through the @PboroPanthers account on Twitter or via https://www.facebook.com/peterboroughspeedway http://m.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/speedway/free-admission-for-the-big-tv-fixture-1-6791680 http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2501.2

Young Danish ace Emil could be the new signing A highly-rated World Under 21 finalist has emerged as a potential target for Panthers. Danish prospect Emil Grondal is on the city clubs radar after putting in a number of practice laps at the East of England Showground last Friday. It was the 20 year-olds second visit of the season to Panthers and he is understood to be very keen to break into British speedway. Promoter Ged Rathbone said: Emil came over earlier in the season to watch a meeting here and then returned with his bikes and team to have a practice on Friday. He comes highly recommended and he is keen to get himself a ride over here. He travelled over at his own expense which highlights how much he wants to race in this country. We will certainly be chatting to him more in the coming days. Panthers are likely to be forced into signing a new rider at the end of this month due to expected changes in their averages. Long-term injury victim Olly Allen is likely to fall below captain Ulrich Ostergaard and teen talent Robert Lambert in the new figures for July which would mean the club are no longer entitled to use a guest for him. Rathbone admitted: If our projected figures are correct, then Ulrich and Robert will both go above Olly in the averages next month. We are constantly considering our options and also keeping an eye on what is happening elsewhere in the league on a daily basis. We are well aware that we have to make the right moves at the right time. http://m.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/speedway/young-danish-ace-emil-could-be-the-new-signing-1-6804307

Thanks for this, good to hear

A response that Roberts Mum herself would be proud of. I'm not a Robert hater, but I am a hater of missing riders, losing and crap excuses. He hasn't answered his critics either, they've chosen to stick their fingers in their ears and wait for it to go away (moved on as you call it). So are you going to share the facts...?

Serious question. Now that they have spent millions on a permanent pitch, is it likely to put future GP's at risk? Surely not going to be happy if pitch is put at risk?
