Peterborough V Edinburgh Sunday 7 May
Noodles replied to Catch Me If You Can's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I've really enjoyed the first matches of the season & the presentation has been pretty good - until last night. I know you can't help crashes but it simply takes far too long to replace fence panels & the long delay kills the meeting & any enthusiasm left. No amount of YMCA, grease lightning (the irony) & the conga are going to relieve my boredom. The tapes had a mind of their own & went up anytime anyone went near them, there was no floodlight over the start finish line which was dangerous (is that why Starke lost it in heat 15?) The ref asked Wells to return to the pits and then excluded him. The start marshall had no way of communicating with the referee leading to confusion in more than one race. In the end stewards had to relay messages. We even had a 5 lap race. All in all it seemed a very amateur show last night. Ged needs to get on top of it before the potential new fans at the MCN festival Saturday. Surprised to see him give up easily in his third ride, and he clearly couldn't be bothered in heat 13. -
Should be Cook & Lambert.

Krsko 2017 - Round 1
Noodles replied to kraftwerk's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The weather forecasts I've seen for Krsko look dreadful, currently forecasting rain Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday next week. -

I hope they pick MJJ -
That's a Grondal sized hole. I know Daz likes to continuously play around with line ups but when occasions like this present themselves , then it needs to be taken if you have aspirations to win the league.

Probably also worried he wouldn't turn up like the SWC race off.

Peterborough's 4 home matches have had excellent crowds

Tell this to Ipswich.

Ipswich V Peterborough April 15th 7.30pm
Noodles replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yesterday I was listening to professional speedway rider after professional speedway rider criticise the Ipswich track and I was thinking you clowns you know nothing. Arch Stanton says it looked fine from his seat and so it must have been. I wished they interviewed him as he knows everything about speedway & track preparation, not those idiot professional speedway riders. -
Peterborough Vs Ipswich Non 17th April
Noodles replied to Pob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
To be fair, when interviewed BWD did say he didn't deserve it & it should have gone to Jacky. -

It's not my job to, I'll leave that to Ged. Sponsors chose BWD. -

Agreed. The man of the match award was even more puzzling than the team manager's decisions -

Aah yes I forgot that clanger from Carl. -

It just didn't make sense. BWD could only take 1 r/r ride & only take 6 rides not 7. It forced Lambert to take 5 rides when he should have only had 3 & meant the three riders under average rode with the reserves. -

Manager made a rod for his own back by leaving r/r at 5. Should have been moved to 2. -

I'd have gone Wright for Hansen and r/r Ulle - meaning everyone can take a ride for Ulle. Scunthorpe's it might rain off ruined that plan. -

Noodles replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Currently a 50% chance of a light rain shower around 1pm on Monday according to the met office. It's a good job they switched it from the Sunday though. I'd think you Ipswich fans would want it on as without Hansen we are doomed, doomed I tell ya. -
Redcar V Peterborough - Koc - 13/4/17
Noodles replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I thought you're prediction would be a little optimistic. It didn't matter in the end but Hansen would have scored more than rider replacement yielded. -

Busch shouldn't have even been in the rerun after wiping Ulrich out. They conviniently forget that bit. Redcar are crap and if they think Busch is the difference between the two teams then they must be mad. -

How embarrassing. I bet Ged is well happy, he's never lost to his local club since he took over at Peterborough. Redcar must be gutted he's not their promoter. -

It's a very late cry off & the explanation does seem a bit odd -

Not sure I agree - Ulrich, Starke, Lambert & Lunna -
Tai can fook off. If he wants to ride in this for GB then he can ride in the World Cup. Hopefully they tell him it's both or none. Why? They got away with it for years.

Fair enough - just assumed it would be national teams if Magic 'is determined to make sure he earns a place in Polish boss Marek Cieslaks team'
