I have to disagree, Jack Holder is emerging as a world class rider -
I'm aware of that, but topsoil isn't if he thinks the pairs is unaffected by the gp

I'm going out & giving tonight's bore fest a miss. I'll tune in for the race off and final. -
It was a brilliant weekend last year but I wouldn't do it again. I don't believe it should be every year - it's too much same old same old every year with not enough time in between for things to change. There should be a break of a few years between the competition like world cups in other sports. Same old teams qualify, same old tracks/countries host it every year. Even the top riders are now giving it a miss. A SGP or even a SEC & I would be there, not this again though.

Panthers v Sheffield was Sunday 18th June Birmingham Press Release Tuesday June 06, 2017: BIRMINGHAM Brummies have been informed by the British Speedway Promoters' Association that a period of inactivity has been placed on Jack Parkinson-Blackburn of 14 days. The issue has been discussed by members of the Management Committee who feel this is the appropriate punishment for Parkinson-Blackburn who is deemed to have withheld his services for SGB Championship side Sheffield on Friday, June 2. It means the Brummies No.1 is not permitted to ride in Wednesday's home clash against Eastbourne at Perry Barr and will also miss next week's trips to Kent and the Isle of Wight. The 16-year-old will be available for selection from Friday, June 16 meaning he is in line to return to the Brummies side at home to Lakeside on Wednesday, June 21. Birmingham Brummies Speedway will be making no further comment on the matter and a full meeting preview ahead of this Wednesday's Travel Plus National League home fixture against Eastbourne will be issued later this evening (Tuesday) http://www.birminghambrummies.co/_mobile/news.php?extend.2470

I'm sure you'll be able to back up that claim by quoting the rule we (& Ipswich) have broken?
-
Exactly, it's made up on the spot anyway so you could get lucky depending on who looks at it/day of the week/weather outside
-
I thought that was odd at the time, now I presume it's because he knew a protest had been lodged. The second point I believe is around the length of ban JPB was served/serving. Sheffield think it was 28 days, but Peterborough are querying this as Auty only got 14 days for the exact same crime.

You said the track prep happened whilst Nick was being attend to. Wrong. You said there was little or no delay. Wrong. Let's agree you're wrong.
-
No you're wrong. Pretty much as soon as the county ambulance had left we then had to endure the track preparation. This could & should have been done as soon as Nick left the track & we were waiting for the county ambulance to arrive.
-
Correct. Even the raker on the first bend stormed off because the crowd were voicing their displeasure at him.
-
Were you actually at the meeting because I was and your version isn't accurate. We waited over an hour for Nick to leave the track, wait for the county ambulance to arrive and for Nick to be handed over to them. In this time we sat and watched riders & management come out on numerous occasions to inspect the track without any track work taking place. Ulrich was interviewed and he said the track needed blading - nothing happened. David Howe was interviewed saying track work needed to be done - still nothing happened. The captains walked the track - nothing happened. Once Nick's transfer to the county ambulance was completed the radio silence wad broken by Edwin to tell us we now needed track work. The crowd were noticeably angry - we could all see there was a problem so why wasn't the track work done earlier? So to say that the track work was done whilst Nick was being attend to is not correct. To say there was little if any delay is also not correct.
