He'll say he's in
But then pull out
In out in out mucking teams about
He does as mummy says and let's you down
and fans they get a clout
Oh Robert Lambert
Oh Robert Lambert
Oh Robert Lambert
Knees bent, arms stretched loading a van van van
For the non believers

Am I reading this right - you are telling us is that the showground have made the decision because they are worried too many people will attend? How very charitable of them! I thought the idea of any charity event was to get as many people to attend as possible?
Ged's been going on about beating the attendance at Rye House since it was announced, wanting 5000+. Seems no one told the showground until now....
Well it would have been a hell of a lot worse if he didn't win wouldn't it?
The team isn't great admittedly, but we haven't turned a wheel yet people are talking crap about not seeing the season out.
But you've got to be around to try. After the winter we've had I'm just happy we're still here. Team was clearly built on a) not knowing whether we'd have to pay the fine and b ) not attending the AGM and thus letting the others have a head start on team planning. Let's ride this year out & regroup next year.
Also let's not forget the season we just had too, many other teams would have loved to have won one trophy let alone two.
